• Americans Hate Tingle: While the series is very successful in Germany, in overseas has received very polarizing reviews varying from average to mediocre.
• Awesome Music:
  • The theme of the Order Mercenaries from Aquanox 2, the Big Bad's personal army, is an oppressive, menacing track with heavy percussion that emphasizes the sheer threat their expensive ships and deadly weaponry poses.
  • "Hektik", "Darkness" and "Pursuit" are all pulse-pounding metal tracks for some of Aquanox 2's intense battles.
• That One Level: The third mission in Aquanox 2 is a steep Difficulty Spike compared to the fairly simple prior two and quite a few that come after. The larger Crawler subs can kill you extremely easily and there is a sniper's nest you need to clear out before you have to fight them. The fact that it's an Escort Mission makes it worse, since dying means you'll have to spend a long time waiting for Dr. Finch to slowly get through the canyon before you can have another attempt. This is also the first level to feature four side objectives, which can result in you already being worn out by the time you get to the showdown at the end.
