• Catharsis Factor: In Spirit of Vengeance, Riser Phenex is an even bigger Jerkass when he scars Rias. So, it's immensely satisfying when Issei pulverizes Riser into the pavement.
• Moral Event Horizon:
  • In Konosuba: The Adventures of Spider-Ham, Morris Miyamori crossed this when he joined the Devil King, engineered the plot to destroy Arcanletia and stole Aqua's power.
  • In Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Spider's Thesis, Gendo went from child abuser to attempted child murderer when he tried to choke his own son, Shinji to death out of sheer jealously of the loving bond Shinji shared with his wife, Yui.
• Nightmare Fuel:
  • In "Project W.E.B.", Yuri's Cold-Blooded Torture is far worse than in the series due to him using his powers to slowly burn his prisoner alive.
  • In "Dark Fury", Cletus Kasady/Carnage. He fled from the United States to avoid getting arrested only to wind up with the red symbiote and joining Muzan's ranks. It's telling enough that that the Demons, including the 12 Mizuki, are genuinely afraid of Carnage.
  • In the "If This Be My Destiny" OVA, Toji cruelly stalks Peter and Riko, even singing a creepier version of the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" song.
• Take That, Scrappy!: In Konosuba: The Adventures of Spider-Ham, a character named Paul, based on Mary Jane Watson's boyfriend from the The Amazing Spider-Man (2022), whenever he appears is repeatedly mocked and jeered by the people of Axel. Even better is that Kingpig, who is the father of this version of MJ, is threatening to punish Paul, particularly with death should he messes up his relationship with the former's daughter.
• Tear Jerker:
  • Peter's death in the Endgame OVA. Tony desperately begs Peter to stay alive before being reduced into a crying mess when he passed. The other Avengers kneel in honor of their fallen comrade.
  • In the Spider's Curse OVA, Riko dies leaving Peter, who fell for the girl, devastated.
