  • Crosses the Line Twice: Since the citizens of Shit City rely on crime, there are plenty of interactions that are absolutely wrong and incredibly hysterical.
    • Every civilian you come across can be kicked. Including innocent people and even children. The game will not punish you for doing this, and none of the other NPCs will react any differently.
    • The fight against Goo Cop and Bag Cop is first against a giant helicopter that rams into you, then a helicopter that drops bombs on you, and finally...a mini-van that drags around a spiked ball-and-chain. Even funnier, this is the boss's most lethal form, because the ball-and-chain has incredible reach, flails in unpredictable patterns, and can instantly kill you unlike the helicopter's attacks.
    • One of the NPCs you come across in the apartments is a toddler playing in his room with a toy. After talking like a baby, he'll immediately demand you give him your wallet.
  • Magnificent Bastard: The Crime Minister is the mysterious, but endearing leader of Shit City. After becoming the ruler of the city and gaining the trust of all the major gangs and civilians, the Crime Minister gradually became desensitized to everyone's obsession with crime and trying to be the best gang. Having enforced and legalized crime, the Crime Minister secretly planned to reform Shit City into Nice City while everyone was preoccupied with fighting each other. Knowing the Violence, Pollution, Business, and Debauchery Gangs were the most lethal threats, the Crime Minister ordered the leaders of all four gangs to steal Anger Foot's preemo sneakers so he would effortlessly kill hundreds of gangsters and dismantle the gangs during his vengeance spree. Once Anger Foot confronts him, the Crime Minister explains his plans to Anger Foot, telling him that with his help, they can eliminate crime from the city forever. Should Anger Foot accept his offer, the Crime Minister keeps his word and successfully builds Nice City.
  • That One Achievement: Some of the bonus objectives you need to do to earn a star (and therefore unlock more shoes) are damn-near impossible or rely on Trial-and-Error Gameplay.
    • The Pacifist Run is required for certain stages, and it's just as difficult as you think it'd be in a fast-paced shooter where most enemies die in a single hit. On the upside, if the enemies kill each other (or themselves), this won't count against you. However, every time you kick open a door, it goes flying, and if a goon is in its path, then he or she will immediately die and your run is screwed.
    • "Health and Safety" is an achievement for the Containment Breach level, which requires you to not break any of the tanks within the laboratory. While it sounds simple on paper, the problem is that the tanks burst with a single bullet, and if a stray bullet from an enemy's gun hits the tank, you fail. This is especially annoying because sometimes an enemy will fire the second you kick down a door and the bullet might hit a tank, making this entirely luck-based.
    • Both the "Rampage" and "Melee Master" achievements for the Tentacle Teardown level. "Melee Master" requires you to kick thirty enemies, while "Rampage" requires you to kill all enemies in seventy seconds. The issue here is that all of the enemies are tentacles with guns, meaning they only trigger if you get close to them, and they're submerged in slime—which is lethal to Anger Foot. To make matters worse, some of spawn points are random, meaning you have to explore and possibly waste time if you wanna get the "Rampage" achievement. And if you wanna kick enough tentacles, you better pray most of them spawn close to dry land, otherwise you gotta trudge through the slime, kick a tentacle while it shoots at you, then hurry back and pray you don't die.
  • That One Level: Pot Shot is the final level in the Violence Gang taking place on the rooftops, meaning lots of skilled platforming is necessary. This wouldn't be.a problem if it wasn't for the sniper who will kill you in four seconds if you don't immediately find cover. It's very easy to rush through the level and accidentally fall to your death, and it's equally just as easy to get sniped out of nowhere because you moved just a little too far from cover while trying to take out enemies, or because you rushed into the open unaware of a proper hiding spot to go to.
