- Narm:
- Judging by Kampaspe's description, the painting Apeles made for Memnon and Barsine was a retroactive version of Sandro Botticelli's Venus And Mars only with Venus giving Mars a handjob. No wonder Barsine states to feel embarrassed by the picture every time she looks at it.
- A lot of the romantic dialogue in general is positively hard to take seriously, and not only due to the copious amounts of Purple Prose used.
- Strangled by the Red String: Alexander and Barsine feel a mutual romantic attraction literally upon meeting.
