The obvious joke is that the railways were nationalised while he was frozen, and therefore he couldn't have shares in any railway company. But his choice of company is appropriate; the LCDR was historically one of the least financially stable railway companies. At the time Adam was frozen, it hadn't paid a dividend for over ten years.
