L-R, Samu, Fatu as WWE World Tag Team Champions
Samu (Samula Anoa'i) and Fatu (Solofa Fatu Jr.) were an American Professional Wrestling Tag Team as The Headshrinkers. They started in the Montreal territory in 1985 before moving to the World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico. They went from there to World Class Championship Wrestling to WCW to WWE in 1992. They made their PPV debut at AWA SuperClash III in a victory over Michael Hayes and Steve Cox. Samu left in 1994 and was replaced by Sionne, better known as The Barbarian.
Among their in-ring achievements, they are former WWC Caribbean Tag Team Champions, 3x World Class World Tag Team Champions and 1x WWE World Tag Team Champions.
"The Tropeshrinkers":
- Acrofatic: Two big guys who could fly very well.
- Finishing Move: Diving headbutt, top rope splash.
- The Sixth Ranger: The Samoan Savage (Sam "The Tonga Kid"/"Islander Tama" Fatu) replaced Samu in late 1989, with the team being renamed The New Wild Samoans.
- Wrestling Family: Samu and Fatu are the respective son and nephew of Wild Samoan Afa. Rikishi is the father of The Usos, and it just goes on and on from there.
