Jamar Wilson is an African-American Professional Wrestler from Augusta, Georgia best known for his work in CHIKARA as Sugar Dunkerton. He debuted in 2003 as Carl Wilson and would wrestle for years as Kareem Abdul Jamar. He arrived in CHIKARA in 2009 as Sugar Dunkerton and was teamed with Dasher Hatfield as The Throwbacks. In 2011, Evil Incompetent Director of Fun Wink Vavasseur, as part of his "Chikarabermetrics" nonsense, switched Sugar to Team F.I.S.T. He quit CHIKARA in 2013.

Along with his Freelance Wrestling title reign, he is a former GCW (Great Championship Wrestling) Tag Team Champion with John Bogie, a former APW (Georgia) Tag Team Champion with Bo Newsom, a former RPW (Illinois) Tag Team Champion as Suge D with Aaron Epic as Lock Up, a former RPW Heavyweight Champion, a former SSW (Strong Style Wrestling in Indiana) Heavyweight Champion, a former IWA Mid-South Tag Team Champion with Myron Reed as Hot Chocolate, a former ISW Falls Count Anywhere Champion, a former Reckless Intent (UK) Hardcore Champion and a former TCW (UK) Hardcore Champion.

"Slam Dunk Tropes":

  • Abhorrent Admirer: At Aniversario Zehn, the Throwbacks (himself and Hatfield) faced Daizee Haze and Tursas of the BDK. In the prematch promo, Sugar talked about melting Daizee's icy heart with some hot chocolate. The BDK won when Tursas pinned Hatfield. Tursas splashed Sugar after the match, to Daizee's apparent delight.
  • Afro Asskicker: Just look at the picture. One of his Red Barons is "Monster Afro."
  • Finishing Move: Air Dunkerton, The Crunk Capture
  • Parts Unknown: "Dunktown, USA"
  • Power Stable:

    • Subsequently announced that he would not be returning to CHIKARA in 2014, as he had made Beyond Wrestling his home promotion during the hiatus.
  • Shout-Out: His name is taken from the Basketball comedy film Semi-Pro.
  • Soul Brotha: Quite different from other black wrestlers in CHIKARA.

  • Wrestling Doesn't Pay: A wrestling Basketball player.
  • Wrong Genre Savvy: During The Throwbacks' (Dasher/Sugar/Matt Classic)'s promo at King of Trios 2010 Night I, Matt Classic (Colt Cabana in a mask as an out-of-touch wrestler from the 1950s) questioned why a "schvartze" was teaming with them. Dasher objected, but Sugar mistook it for a reference to Spaceballs, saying, "May the Schwartz be with you, too."
