Bradley Cain (born September 8, 1970) is an American Professional Wrestler, trainer and author best known for his time in WCW as Lodi. He debuted in 1997 and worked in the North Carolina independent scene before arriving in WCW in late November 1997 as a member of Raven's Flock. He was given the name Lodi because of his resemblance to Billy Idol. He was a Jobber, generally there to get beat up by other wrestlers. After Perry Saturn defeated Raven at WCW Fall Brawl 98, Lodi drifted for a year until he and Lenny Lane were put together as the team The West Hollywood Blondes, a nod to the 1993 team The Hollywood Blondes, "Stunning" Steve Austin and "Flyin'" Brian Pillman. The team actually got over and helped WCW's sagging TV Ratings, but the organization GLAAD objected to the gimmick, leading to them being repackaged as Standards And Practices. In that role, they had some connection to Ms. Hancock (Stacy Keibler), which was never explained. They were also known as XS, then 2XS, none of which got over. WWE did not pick up his contract after buying WCW so he went off into the independents.
As for his in-ring achievements, he is a former NWA Mid-Atlantic Hardcore Champion, a former RWA (Renegade Wrestling Alliance in Pennsylvania) Heavyweight Champion
, a former WrestleForce Tag Team Champion
with fellow Flock alumnus Sick Boy and a former TCW (Dusty Rhodes' Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling in Georgia) Hardcore Champion
.
"Everybody Loves Lodi's Tropes":
- Ambiguously Gay: His team with Lenny Lane, the West Hollywood Blondes.
- Badass Teacher: His most famous student is Charlotte Flair.
- Bullying a Dragon/Too Dumb to Live: He faced Goldberg on the March 16, 1998 WCW Monday Nitro and one of the signs he had with him read "GOLDBERG IS A MEATHEAD." He actually stood behind the referee and jumped up and down while holding the sign. The ref moved out of the way, Goldberg grabbed the sign and you can probably guess the rest.
- Expy: His carrying around signs was based on ECW's Sign Guy Dudley, another gimmick Raven had created.
- Finishing Move: A DDT called The Sign-Off.
- I Have Many Names: Brad Kane, Skank, Lodi, Idol, Rave
- Moral Guardians: When he and Lenny were repackaged as the Tag Team Standards and Practices.
- Name of Cain: His real last name.
- Power Stable: Raven's Flock
- Tag Team:
- (with Toad) Dangerous Minds
- The West Hollywood Blondes/Standards And Practices/XS/2XS, with Lenny Lane.
- Unrelated Brothers: With Lenny Lane, after the gay angle was dropped. This was eventually forgotten about.
- Xtreme Kool Letterz: He and Lenny were renamed XS.
