A 1992 Spanish animated fantasy directed by Juan Bautista Berasategi that follows a dardevil trying to release the powers of the North Wind in order to get a pod of whales.
It was followed by The Return Of The North Wind in 1993.

- Evil Is Deathly Cold: The North Wind, an evil ice spirit, serves as the titular main antagonist, with the pirate Athanasius serving as his main human henchman. He plans to turn the world into a frosty wasteland after killing all the whales and the three Heroes.
- Gone Swimming, Clothes Stolen: While Peiot takes a bath in a water barrel to cure his sea sickness, his sister Ane (who stowed away on board of the ship) steals his clothes so she can sneak into the ship's kitchen and get some food unnoticed. She returns them afterwards, though.
- An Ice Person: The North Wind, the titular evil ice spirit.
- The Old North Wind: The movie features the North Wind as the wicked, ghostlike Big Bad. he was sealed away long ago by the other forces of nature as punishment for causing destruction but is freed at the start of the film.
