Stick Girl is an old Animated Series made by Bruce Simpson.

Stick Girl is a 17-year-old teenage girl who the show revolved around. The show's main format seemed to involve mainly Stick Girl and the male narrator who would, in some episodes, interacted with Stick Girl directly.

The series aired in the 2000s. Episodes can be found here. With the discontinuation of Adobe Flash in late 2020, you will need to install a standalone player or Ruffle to view these episodes.

Stick Girl contains examples of:

  • Air Quotes: The person interviewing Stick Girl in "Generation X" uses these a couple of times when talking to her.
  • All Just a Dream: The events of the episode "Activism" turn out to have just occurred in Stick Girl's head.
  • Black Bead Eyes: Plenty of examples in the show.
  • Donut Mess with a Cop: In "Activism", when the police are done interrogating Stick Girl on how all the bunnies escaped, the head cop says "Let's go out for donuts", to which the other cops cheer.
  • Ear-Piercing Plot: The series has a multi-episode plot about Stick Girl getting her ear pierced. The episodes show Stick Girl chickening out on one occasion, with much of them talking about ear piercing itself, be it the reasons, or even the process, and instructions. The final one focused on Stick Girl dreadfully sitting down to get it pierced...and it's over rather quickly, with Stick Girl glad to finally have a piercing.
  • Everything's Better With Bunnies: In "Activism", billions of escaped lab rabbits get to work curing all diseases, ending all wars, solving Earth's energy crisis, and solving world hunger.
  • Failed a Spot Check: The police interrogating Stick Girl in "Activism" about who released the bunnies from a nearby ruined lab don't seem all that interested in the fact that Stick Girl is currently sitting in a BULLDOZER.
  • Political Overcorrectness: In "Political Correctness", the narrator informed Stick Girl that they would be changing the name for her show. At first, it would just be "Stick Person", but then the narrator decided that "Stick" didn't sound that good either, and tried to come up with a more politically correct variant of that. He ultimately came up with a way-too-long title. Stick Girl convinced him to change it back after asking what he would do with a warehouse full of "Stick Girl" t-shirts.
  • Protagonist Title: The show was named after its protagonist.
  • Stick Figure Animation: Naturally.
