Binka is a cartoon consisting of a chubby cat named Binka and his adventures. It ran from 2001 to 2004. The series consists of 26 5-minute shorts.

Binka is a cat who has three different houses that he lives at. Binka is a big, furry, well-fed black and white tomcat. Binka also has several friends, such as the energetic puppy Tango and the pretty cat Suki.

Binka provides examples of:

  • Amazing Technicolor Wildlife:
    • Binka is a blue-and-white cat. It's likely stylized black-and-white.
    • Suki is maroon.
    • Spit is dark green.
  • Big Eater: Binka likes food. It can even distract him from talking with Suki.
  • Canines Primary, Felines Secondary: Inverted. The main cast are cats while token dog is secondary.
  • A Cat in a Gang of Dogs: Inverted in that most of the animal characters are cats, but there is one puppy.
  • Cats Are Mean: Of all the cats seen in the series, only Spit is this.

  • Free-Range Pets: Binka is a cat with three different owners that is allowed to run wherever he pleases. The same applies to the other cats and the token dog.
  • Hair Color Dissonance: Binka's black fur is stylized blue.
  • Hates Baths: Being a cat, Binka is not fond of bathing.
  • Precious Puppy: Tango, the energetic puppy that lives at one of Binka's houses.
  • The Smurfette Principle: Suki, the object of Binka's affections.
