Go To

Troller! is a Transformers Fan Comic by DeviantArt user BTFly009. It follows the Cybertronians who stayed behind on Earth after the war and a small group that interact with a teenager named Mindy. Troller is a humorous character and Mindy's reactions to everything from Femmes to Transformer-sized Subways are hilarious. It is in an Animesque style and translated to English from Portuguese. The Grammar can be off but it is quickly corrected once pointed out. It updates every Tuesday.

The first installment, "The Beginning", can be found here.

Troller! provides examples of:

  • Absentee Actor: Free Fall still hasn't come back in the fourth FA Qs after the third...
  • Action Girl: Lanyse appears to be building up to be this.
  • Animesque: The comic's artstyle draws heavily from Manga, in the design of the human characters and with Chibi!Mindy appearing at ends of sequences.
  • Angrish: Mindy: "Troller! Why you did it?"
  • Audience Participation: Cybertronians are very into this, all their musical instruments and concerts are designed so the audience can interact with the music.
  • Crush Blush: Shadow's history with Lanyse is revealed in the first FAQ session when Troller mentions her name.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Troller is as bubbly and talkative as it's possible to be. He is also by BeeTee's own admission a little crazy.
  • Advertisement:
  • Darker and Edgier: The most recent story, Metal Crime is certainly a lot darker than The Beginning, First Holiday Party and Bot's Love, seeming as it involves the investigation into the near death of and the suspected murder attempt made on famous runner Sunblast.
  • Death Glare: Lanyse... Honestly, if looks could kill...
  • Deadpan Snarker: Lanyse shows these tendencies.
  • Dope Slap: Lanyse gives one verbally to Danarin.
  • Facepalm: Here
  • Fictional Video Game: Danmaran, described in detail in the 4th FA Qs.
  • Exactly What It Says on the Tin: The Cybertronians city of Sudzuntanpak is called 'New City'.
  • Half-Identical Twins: Silverbolt and his sister Silverlight are hard to tell apart, but she has Tertiary Sexual Characteristics.
  • Huge Girl, Tiny Guy: Troller has a crush on Dymona, a Fembot twice his height.
  • Insistent Terminology: The Cybertronians don't 'transform' they 'transmute'. 'Transformers' is just a term humans came up with for them.

  • Kindhearted Cat Lover: Cooper has a secret passion for cats and is shaping up to be a friendly character.
  • The Klutz: Troller. He was introduced by nearly crashing into Mindy and her Aunt Clara!
  • Lightning Glare: Lanyse gives one to Troller after he is revealed to have been under the table through out her... Sex Ed talk... in the second FAQ.
  • Meaningful Name: Shadow is black and silver.
  • My Nayme Is: Marteen is pronounced Martin.
  • The Medic: There's a whole medical centre of them, the named ones so far are Randall, Hanumann and Cooper.
  • The Needs of the Many: Cybertronians who are 'born' like humans are unable to transform, but this seems to be the only way the species will survive.
  • No Pronunciation Guide: Averted. Sudzuntanpak is confirmed to be pronounced as spelt.
  • Perfectly Cromulent Word: 'Emergenical' according to BeeTee.
  • Rage Breaking Point: Mindy doesn't often get truly angry, but on the 14th page of the second story, Bot's Love, she gets so angry with Troller that she throws a bench at him.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Troller is red to Shadow's blue.
  • Reaction Shot: In response to Cooper's blow-up on page 130.
  • Tertiary Sexual Characteristics: Lanyse has 'lipstick'.
  • Theme Twin Naming: Silverbolt and his half identical twin sister Silverlight.
  • Translation Punctuation: If dialogue is punctuated <like this> it's in Cybertronian.
  • Turncoat: From what hints have been dropped, and the old Decepticon insignia on her leg Lanyse wasn't always on the same side as her companions.
  • Scenery Porn: Increasingly common, but no one's complaining, BeeTee's backgrounds are spectacular.
  • Star-Crossed Lovers: Implied between Shadow and Lanyse.
  • Suspiciously Specific Denial: Shadow and Lanyse's insistence that they will never have kids strays into this territory.
  • Underground City: Sudzuntanpak started out as this.
  • You Are Grounded: Mindy grounds Troller Here
