The Green Knight
is a Heroic Fantasy Webcomic about a wandering knight cursed to be a frog. On his way to finding a cure, he meets several companions and battles monsters of Celtic mythology.
Tropes
- Hellish Horse: A particularly nasty Unseelie fae the heroes encounter is a kelpie, a black horse that lures people into touching it... at which point they adhere and it drags them to the bottom of the lake to drown.
- Monster of the Week: The main character can't stop in a village without having to confront a some supernatural creature, usually having to defeat it but not always.
- Shapeshifting Lover: One of the families the heroes stay with is a fisherman and his wife, who is revealed to be a selkie whose skin was stolen. A whole lot of chaos ensues when the skin is found and the characters have to contend with the fisherman, the skin itself (which is more than happy to attach itself to anyone it touches), and the selkie's family who finally have a chance at revenge.
