Temple Va’Ti is a 2016 science-fantasy webcomic created by Dion H Gray.

The webcomic follows the everyday lives and adventures of a diverse group of heroic wizards and witches working for the “Coven of Josephina” on an exomoon called Orobluma’.

The comic is currently hosted on both tapastic and Dion’s "MisterGrey3000" tumblr blog.

This webcomic provides examples of:

  • Alien Hair: The insect-esque, mammal-like beaufea are endowed with "Not-hair-at-all hair" of the feathered variety.
  • Alien Sky: The webcomic takes place on a moon orbiting a gas giant. Both said gas giant and two other moons can be seen in the oroblumian sky. In "Huntress Major" we get a glimpse of two natural satellites orbiting what can be assumed to be the beaufea homeworld.
  • Bare Your Midriff: Eira’s outfit features this in the shape of a triangle.

  • Bizarre Alien Biology: The beaufea. They possess four arms, bug-like eyes, three fingers, “feathers”, antennae, and Word of God has revealed bird-like lungs. Also “Huntress Major” seems to allude to some type of caste system within the species.
  • Bizarre Sexual Dimorphism: Despite both genders expressing femininity, beaufea men and women are quite distinct looking. The women are very tall and possess wide hips, wide leaf shaped antennae, limbs with protruding feathers, and eyes that come in a variety of colors. The males on the other hand are very short and svelte with big black eyes and spotted pear shaped antennae.
  • Camp Gay: More like camp bisexual for Moccat, see Wholesome Crossdresser below.
  • Deflector Shields: Moccat uses this to send Lilly flying after being startled by her prank.
  • Emotionless Girl: Eira, she doesn't even crack a smile while wishing a group of a school children- who she might have traumatized- a safe and fruitful field trip.

  • Horn Attack: “Boys Will Be…Magical Boys?” features two canifleur men roughhousing with their horns.
  • Horned Humanoid: Moccat and the other canifleur men we’ve seen so far all possess brown wood-like horns at the top of their heads.
  • Humanoid Aliens: The six-armed beaufea "ants" and the horned canifleur.
  • Magical Society: What the Temple Va’Ti mages seem to belong to.
  • Plant Aliens: While not outright stated within the webcomic, Word of God has revealed the flower headed canifleur to be this in related material.
  • The Prankster: If her antics in “Boys Will Be…Magical Boys?” are anything to go by, Lilly is one.
  • Rapunzel Hair: Eira’s hair cover’s a significant portion of her rump, while Lilly’s stops just short of her own bottom.
  • Shout-Out: What is basically a humanized Pearl appears in “Huntress Major” as a school teacher.
  • Visual Innuendo: Jacqueline squeezes the cream out of an elongated pastry after placing a beautiful young beaufea man in Lilly’s arms.
  • Wholesome Crossdresser: Moccat Mente Blue, the svelte young alien man from “Boys Will Be...Magical Boys?”. The first time we’re introduced to him he’s seen applying lipstick in a little white dress and sparkly pink high heels. This also seems to be the default state of all beaufea men.
