"Super Mahou
" is a completed black-and-white webcomic by Mari, creator of Peritale. In the comic, a group of five teenage girls with superpowers meet and decide to become magical girls to fight monsters.
This work contains examples of:
- Contrived Coincidence: Five girls with superhuman powers manage to meet and become a team.
- Mistaken for Suicidal: Kozue and Miwa first see Ageha when she's standing on the edge of a bridge, and presume that she's going to jump. Her flight power means that she was never in any danger.
- One Person, One Power: Each of the girls has a single superhuman power.
- Personality Powers: Each of the girls has a power that seems to correspond to an aspect of their personality.
- Pintsized Powerhouse: Ryuko is one of the shorter girls in the group, but she's the one with Super-Strength.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: Ageha and Ryuko's dynamic in a nutshell. They go from arguing to friendly at the drop of a hat.
