...And that's not even all of the different artstyles!
Split Object Comic (SOC) is an Object Show webcomic made by QuantumWillow. The comic is unique from most object shows webcomic as every "episode" is written and drawn by a different artist. Its first episode began on October 27th, 2020, and is currently on its 11th episode.

It also has a spinoff, titled "Short SOCS" and is focused more on non-competition interactions between the characters.

The series follows standard object show rules, but takes advantage of it being comic-based by having the host be a literal narration text box.

Split Object Comic is primarily on Discord, but has gotten it's own official website since.

Tropes in Split Object Comic:

  • Ascended Meme: It was joked about that Gnome would be Split Object Comic's equivalent to Battle for Dream Island's Profily, and then episode 9 comes out where Gnome has a small role in the episode.
  • A Day in the Limelight: Episode 7's "This Episode is About Plasma Ball." Guess who's the main character for this episode.
  • A Lizard Named "Liz": Narraty, Phoney and Zeppy apply.
  • Art Shift: Since every episode has a different artist, you can expect a change in the art style every episode.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: In Episode 6, "Mashed", Backwards Hat suddenly gets tired of Soc's grumpy attitude and insults them in their face. Downplayed, as his rant isn't as serious as he thinks it is, but it's the thought that counts.
  • Characterization Marches On: Some of the cast's original descriptions don't really seem to fit their actual counterpart in the comic. Examples include:
    • Backwards Hat being a very huge egotist.
    • Rusty Pipe being distracted with his interests.
  • Denser and Wackier: Most of the Split Object Comic shorts seem to follow this.
  • Depending on the Writer: Narrator's personality varies from episode-to episode, because each episode has a different author.
  • Face Doodling: Easel doesn't have an actual face, and instead draws on herself to make her own face.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Soc is this. Made even worse, since they're on a team with contestants who prefer to goof off.
  • Lazy Bum: Backwards Hat is mostly seen laying around, sometimes even playing board games, instead of doing challenges.
  • Out of Focus: Most contestants eliminated early seem to get this treatment, like App Store and Pretzel.
  • Surreal Humor: The short "ode i just flew in from goiky and boy are my arms tired canda the TOLD TRUTH about Parody of Game Theory". (Yes, that is the name of the short.)

Narraty: "That was the power of narration. With it, anyone can do anything!"
