Old School, New Revolution is a Buzz Lightyear of Star Command comic created by Fox Storm. Taking place in a High School A.U.... in the The '80s.

Taking inspiration of all things '80s, including John Hughes films, the majority of the cast all attend Kepler Academy High School. Joining the canon cast of BLoSC are quite a number of Original Characters, including Simone Caldera, a young Proper Lady-like student, and Pix, a spirited yet loving Canine Companion. The comic does have some ongoing arcs, but for the most part, it consists of quick one-shots with the characters interacting with one another and in various sticky situations, from dating to exploring treasures!

The comic has been on hiatus for some time now.

Currently under construction.

This work contains examples of:

  • '80s Hair: Mira and Simone, guilty as charged!
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: Savy SL 2 is sometimes this to Ty with her sarcastic attitude, but the two of them can usually get along.
  • Big Man on Campus: Buzz. He's a straight-A student AND is one of the top athletes in the entire school.
  • Big Brother Mentor: Buzz, Ty and Rocket to the younger students. Simone counts too as a big sisterly type.
  • Big Brother Instinct: The upper classmen to the freshmen, natch. Ty is this way to Savy, too.
  • Chick Magnet: Ty, Buzz and Warp, although out of the three, Ty attracts the most girls with Buzz slightly behind.
  • Creator Cameo: The creator's avatar makes cameos in the pages from time to time.
  • Extraverted Nerd: Xavier Reggie Nebula AKA XR is SO this.
  • Advertisement:
  • Lovable Jock: Buzz and Ty. Rocket's a little mischievous, but ultimately he still counts.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: Commander Nebula is the principal of Kepler Academy High!
  • Rich Bitch: Nolan Seymour Atterton AKA NOS-4-A2 in human form is a male version of this trope.
  • Spoiled Sweet: Mira. Even if she has a lot of money and her father's high in authority, she's still a nice gal who likes to have fun like any girl would.
  • The '80s

How well does it match the trope?
