Here U Are is a Shounen Ai manhua by D. Jun, which ran from 2017 to 2020.

Second year college student Yu Yang has a task of welcoming new students. One of them, Li Huan, is a tall and quiet guy who doesn't have many friends. While Yu Yang's first impression of him wasn't exactly positive, after many encounters with Li Huan, he discovers that the big guy wasn't actually that bad.

Here U Are provides examples of:

  • Age-Gap Romance: Middle-aged Pan Shu and young adult Zhong Qiu Jie.
  • Anachronic Order: The author tends to publish side story chapters alongside main story chapters. For example, the main story takes place between 2017 and June 2019, then one side story goes back to December 2004 and another one fast forward to New Year's Eve 2024.
  • Art Evolution: As the story progressed, the art also improved. The lines became thinner, more solid and the colors became more vibrant.
  • Babies Ever After: At the end of the story, Wang Wang is pregnant with the Xiao Yi's child.
  • Big Ol' Eyebrows: Li Huan and his father have a pair of thick eyebrows.
  • Birthday Episode: Li Huan has one, which occurs on May 20, 2018, between Chapter 131 and Chapter 132.
  • Breakout Character: Yu Yang was a side character of the author's previous work, Guang Xiang. Here he is the main character of this story.
  • But Not Too Bi: While Li Huan only shows interest in Yu Yang in the story, according to one of the author's Q&A comics, if he never met Yu Yang, he would marry and have kids in the future.
  • Childhood Friend Romance: As it turns out, Yu Yang used to play with Li Huan on December 21, 2004.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome:
    • After Chapter 33, Jian Yu doesn't make any appearance until side story seven.
    • After he was threatened by Yu Yang to stay way from Li Huan, Wang Ming and his gang disappears from the plot with no explanation.
  • Cool Uncle: Uncle Pan, the owner of a gay bar.
  • Coordinated Clothes: Sometime after July 2018, Li Huan starts to wear the same black stud as Yu Yang's on his right ear (as opposed to Yu Yang's left).
  • Duet Bonding: In one of their early bonding moments, Yu Yang and Li Huan play piano together.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Wang Wang appears in Chapter 9 before she starts to become recurring character.
  • Foregone Conclusion: Thanks to many side stories that the author published along with the main stories, Li Huan and Yu Yang will be a couple and their parents will support their relationship.
  • Friendless Background: Yu Yang, Li Huan and Ji Yuan
    • Yu Yang was ostracized by his classmates in middle school when he came out as gay.
    • During middle school, Li Huan was feared by his classmates, thanks to his quiet personality and giant height.
    • Also during middle school, Ji Yuan was frequently bullied by his classmates, because of his shy personality.
  • Gentle Giant: Li Huan, , who stands at 196 cm at age 18, is pretty docile and quiet young man unless someone decided to mess with Yu Yang. His father, who is about 190 cm, also counts.
  • Gray Rain of Depression: In Chapter 82, when Yu Yang rejects Li Huan's affection.
  • Jerkass:
    • Wang Ming. He likes to torment Yu Yang just because he is gay.
    • Yu Yang's aunt and uncle. They are so insensitive toward Yu Yang and pretty much mocking him for being gay that by the end of the story, his father more or less disowns them from his family.
  • Oblivious to Love: Wang Wang doesn't realize that Xiao Yi has a crush on her and she more or less treats him as her gay friend.
  • Official Couple: Yu Yang and Li Huan. By the end of the last side story, Uncle Pan and Zhong Qiu Jie, Huan Wen and Ji Yuan, plus Xiao Yi and Wang Wang.
  • Open-Minded Parent: By the end of the story, Li Huan's father and Yu Yang's parents.
  • Precious Puppy: Li Huan's father adopts one near the end of the story.
  • Shipper on Deck: Wang Wang is one towards Yu Yang and Li Huan. Also deconstructed, her attempts to get them indirectly causing few problems on their relationship.
  • Shrinking Violet: Ji Yuan, who frequently stuttering his speech.
  • Snow Means Love: It's snowing when Yu Yang confesses his feelings to Li Huan.
  • The Stoic: Li Huan rarely emotes until he starts dating Yu Yang.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: Li Huan looks like a younger version of his father.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Zhong Qiu Jie gives one to Yu Yang while also beating him, saying he is running away from his problems and that while he was hurt before, he has no right to deny Li Huan's feelings.
  • Too Hot for TV: Most of the kiss scenes are censored. Invoked by the characters themselves in Chapter 107, as Yu Yang and Li Huan were replaced by a black cat and a Tibetan fox respectively.
  • Yaoi Fangirl: Wang Wang, who has a whole Boys' Love manhua collection.
