Did you know Hell used to be wild and free? Shh! The demon King might hear you! Lillin wants nothing more than to be a warrior like the rest of her noble family. But when a letter from the King Himself summons her to the Royal Palace, she finds that the world as she knows it can never be so simple ever again. With danger and deception around every corner, secrets written in sigils, and worlds full of mystery, Lillin must question everything if she ever hopes to save her home. Or herself.''
Website description about the comic

Hellborn is a webcomic by Kazra.

The war between Heaven and Hell is over, and Satan has been overthrown. What has replaced him is even worse. The new Overlord of Hell is a serial rapist who casually throws sex slaves into the waiting arms of his legion of psychopathic bastard children. One of these unfortunates, Lillin, has been anointed as the new bride of Alistor, infamously known as a superficial serial killer.

With Heaven corrupted by the war, no help is coming, and no innocent is safe. Will Lillin survive this castle of carnage, or will The Family take their due?

Unfortunately, the comic is on indefinite hiatus.

  • An Arm and a Leg: Nano and Ashborn were forced to rip each other's arms off to escape an angel prison. Ashborn could regenerate her arm. Nano... not so much.
  • Beneath the Mask: Alistor has to keep up the façade of a monster to prevent himself (and his charges) from being executed by his own father. In secrecy, he's a total weeb.
  • Crapsaccharine World / Crapsack World: During Satan's reign, the demons lived happily and freely off the suffering of mortals, raiding their towns for slaves and burning their souls for magic. Under the new regime, all of this continues like clockwork, while demons live far less happily as maidens are regularly sacrificed to the rape-happy bastard sons of the new Overlord.
  • Eyes Do Not Belong There: The new Overlord has eyes scattered across his body and four near his left eye socket.
  • Light Is Not Good: Heaven is little different than Hell; angelic soldiers capture demonic prisoners of war to torture, execute, and dissect them, and make little effort to protect their own 'inconsequential' citizens from the ravages of Hell's armies.
  • Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil: The new Overlord reaches a low that makes Satan look saintly, by forcing the families of hell to surrender their daughters, throwing the demonesses into the waiting arms of his army of bastard children, who constantly rape and mutilate them to death.
  • Rape, Pillage, and Burn: The armies of Hell raid the mortal world to supply their dead world.
  • Satan: Was overthrown before the start of the story, around the time Nano was a kid.
