It took longer than anyone expected, but Earthlings finally set out into space. When they discover superlight technology and set forth from their unintentionally hermetic world, one particular galactic observer organizes a rendezvous with the Earthlings, and is greeted by an unusual surprise.
—Official summary

From Earth in Peace is a webcomic by Ronnie Filyaw, the creator of Whomp! and Otaku Dad. It features the First Contact between Earthlings and the alien community, starting with an alien known as an observer who has longed to meet Earthlings after falling in love with their entertainment.

From Earth in Peace contains the following tropes...

  • Cuteness Proximity: The observer finds humans to be adorable, such as how one leads him by the hand and another asks to be held.
  • First Contact: The premise of the story is an alien meeting up with humanity's descendants. By the time they become space-fairing, humanity has altered itself so much that the reader learns about them just as often as the actual alien.
  • Immortal Immaturity: Modern humans have eliminated aging, but they stop developing before adolescence, meaning the entire population consists of unaging children. They are still remarkably intelligent and their immaturity manifests as an eternal innocence.
  • Punched Across the Room: At one point the observer has to get near a large creature that keeps swatting him away. His durability stops it from hurting him, but he is so light that he gets launchedseveral body lengths away by each hit.
  • Reused Character Design: The Observer main character looks just like M Dude from the author's other webcomic, Whomp!. He has Blank White Eyes, a bald head of the same shape, is much taller and thinner than the human characters similar to how M Dude towers over the short, round Ronnie, and he even has them same exposed arms. The only true difference is the Observer is purple/pink and has two fin like ears.
