"This world is full of secrets. Some of which I wish I'm still ignorant about."
Cliff Genus, Cast Page

Crossing-Over is a Furry Transformation Webcomic written by Paradox F. about a ferret named Cliff who gets into trouble after prowling the streets at night wearing a mask. The story is PG-13 and is a mish-mash of several ideas into one. There are dinosaur-like creatures in this modern-looking furry setting and for a genderbending comic, it's played quite straight. The comic started in 2012 and updates every one to two weeks. You can read it here.

Tropes included:

  • Attractive Bent-Gender: Cliff's alternate form is tall, long-haired and has a nice figure.
  • Beast Man: The comic's characters are mainly humans with animal features pinned onto them.
  • Big Eater: Cliff's alternate form eats more than one would expect.
  • Clark Kenting: Cliff's mask is just a blindfold with holes for his eyes.
  • Corporate-Sponsored Superhero: It's implied, by law enforcers, that being out on the streets in a shady get-up is not that uncommon as one might think.
  • Easy Sex Change: Cliff changes by glowing with a bright flash of light.
  • Furries Are Easier to Draw: The art is evident of this and the data page lists why furry was picked as the art style.
  • Gender Bender: This does not show up until the third chapter but it does happen.
  • Gender-Restricted Ability: Cliff's alternate form is faster, stronger and more durable.
  • Advertisement:
  • Manchild: Cliff may be mature for his age but he's still himself mentally when transformed.
  • Man, I Feel Like a Woman: Cliff does this for a moment with one hand after his first change but got interrupted by his opponent.
  • Multilayer Façade: Cliff has two or three different identities depending on how you look at it.
  • Overnight Age-Up: Cliff's alternate form is definitely older than his normal self.

  • Secret Identity: Cliff literally goes under different identities when wearing the mask, not wearing it, and in between.
  • Third Law of Gender Bending: Cliff gets strangely used to his new body right away.
  • Utility Belt: Cliff brought and used TWO grappling hooks, a crowbar and carried some weapons too. All from a kit in a hobby store!
