The Family Gaming Team, also known as FGTeeV, are a family of six, consisting of the parents Vincent and Samantha Carter and the children Lexi, Mike, Chase, and Shawn. They signed up for YouTube in 2006, though they only became active in the 2010's. They make family YouTube videos about video games (formerly Skylanders), vlogs, comedy sketches, and more.

- Accidental Murder: in the song The Huggy Wuggy Dance, Huggy Wuggy accidentally kills Granny Wanny while doing the epitomious dance, with a big ol squeeze. He didn't know that her granny had a back accident.
- Expository Theme Tune: The Skylander Hunting theme song explains that the family hunts for Skylanders toys all day and goes all over the place to find them.
- Extremely Short Intro Sequence: Their standard opening is very short and just says the name of the channel.
- Fleeting Demographic: Kids tend to have fleeting interest in video games, and the same goes for the Family Gaming Team, where they'll stop playing a game once kids lose interest.
- Name and Name: Used for TheSkylanderBoy AndGirl, Brick & Betty, and Max & Midnight.
- Periphery Demographic: In the opening skit of "Fast & Furious Car Chase!", the kids bug Dad to set up the race track. His response? Vincent: Ugh, I was just about to watch Dora the Explorer season 3!
- Product Placement: The family will occasionally upload sponsored videos. One example is their "Fast & Furious Car Chase!" video, which is an ad for Anki.
