Minus World is a YouTube group devoted to Nintendo games, podcasts, and memes. The group originated from the Hobo Bros channel with their "10 YouTubers VS 1 Speedrunner" series in 2017. The dedicated Minus World channel was created on May 16, 2018, with their first video coming a month later.
The channel currently consists of 9 members:

Due to their busy schedule with Glitch Productions and the SMG4 channel, Luke and Kevin are considered "legacy members" of the group and no longer appear on the channel.

Minus World contains examples of:
- Anachronic Order: The Booster Course Pass Wave 4 video includes a Call-Back of the boys playing a Shrek quiz, which wouldn't be uploaded for another month.
- Animated Adaptation: Only one animation has been made, based on a conversation about The Oregon Trail.
- April Fools' Day: A few April Fools specials have been uploaded.
- In 2021, the boys partook in the Ultimate Minus World Race, all unknowingly playing different games. Bandy is in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Tetra in Shrek 2, Swanky in his own game Zardy's Maze, Chari in Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed, and Nico in the Captain Falcon minigame of Nintendo Land.
- In 2023, they do an 8 YouTubers, 1 Controller challenge in an infamous Mario bootleg for the Sega Genesis. According to the comments, everyone except Chari had their mics off.
- Bilingual Bonus: In the first Booster Course Pass video, Chari tells Nico to start the race with some French. It sounds like he is saying, "Bonne chance du monne," which is equivalent to wishing good luck. Appropriate with how skilled he is.
- Caption Humor: Many videos will have split-second jokes in the captions, whether they be edited by Grant, DPad, or Chari.
- Continuity Nod: Played with. The members occasionally joke about the channel having continuity and whatever season they're on.
- Crossover: The boys have collaborated with other creators on the channel such as Stowgee and AntDude.
- Does Not Like Spam: Free cookies from Subway, in a way, to Bandy. It's less about not liking them and more not wanting to take it after his sandwich was ruined with too much mayo.
- Epic Fail: The group somehow dashed past the goal ring to their death in "Can 5 YouTubers Beat Sonic Adventure 2 with 1 CONTROLLER?!"
- Excited Episode Title!: Many video titles are this way, such as "Super Mario All-Stars: World 1 Relay Race!"
- Gasshole: It's a common agreeance among the boys that Drew has the best burps.
- Gosh Dang It to Heck!: Chari's recurring phrase of "son of a goat" falls under this trope. Occasionally subverted with the "proper" version.
- Heroic Second Wind: In the Break the Targets race, Chari was stuck on Luigi's stage for half the video while everyone else had reached the second row of characters. He managed to catch up and somehow beat Drew and DPad.
- I Have Many Names: Chari is also called Chuck, Charles, and his real name Nahum at various times.
- Lame Pun Reaction: DPad has one after Chari starts the Minus World iceberg episode with an awful pun.Chari: "Can we call that a... sync-cess?"DPad: "I want you to sink below the iceberg."
- Laughing at Your Own Jokes: Oh boy, do they ever.
- Named Like My Name: Named after the Minus World glitch in Super Mario Bros..
- Multinational Team: Though most members are American, Nico and Tetra are Canadian, Chari is Mexican-American, and Luke and Kevin are Thai-Australian.
- Please Subscribe to Our Channel: Tetra is usually the one to squeeze a joke into every video.
- Pop Quiz: Quiz videos are a recurring series on the channel, each hosted by a different member.
- Rage Quit: Or more accurately, "throwing the towel."
- Running Gag:
- Every day is Grant's birthday.
- "Look at this graph."
- Bagged milk.
- Nico winning at games he's never played.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Tetra in the Mario Kart song quiz after Bandy says his score is no longer in the "minus world." Nico takes the opportunity to ask if Tetra's Ninji Speedrun wins count anymore.Tetra: "I'm gonna block you."
- Sir Swears-a-Lot: DPad curses considerably more than the other members, particularly during the "Mario Party VS Minus World" series.
- Soft Reset: Accidentally invoked in the Super Mario Racing video. Apparently quitting to the main menu sends the boys back to level 1. Not that it really mattered.Simple: "I really wanted to see what the next track looked like..."Swanky: "I'll give you one guess."Simple: chuckles "It looked like this."
- Synthetic Voice Actor: Whenever a member's audio gets ruined, they are replaced with a text to speech program. This hasn't stopped the editors from twisting conversations.TTS!Bandy: "Tetra, get out of Nico's bed right now."Tetra: "No, what do you mean?!"TTS!Bandy: "And why are you two sharing the top bunk?"Tetra: "We would have fallen all the way to the bottom!"
- Take That!: Super Mario 3D All-Stars was a common target for a while.Chari: "Kids today have it too good, they get three games..."Bandy: "We got four! So gottem."
- Temporary Substitute: A few videos, such as their gameplay of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania, have Nathaniel Bandy replaced by his "twin brother" Bathaniel Nandy.
- Terrible Artist: Many of the group's drawings tend to be little more than doodles. Justified in that most drawing videos have a hard timer. Inverted with Chari and zig-zagged with Drew, who have both shown impressive art skills.
- The Cameo: Drew's wife, affectionately nicknamed Kristendo, joins the boys for a round of Blather 'Round.
- Troll: Nico is usually this in many gameplay videos.
- True Companions: Every video, even when they drive each other nuts, you can feel the group's synergy and friendship.
