Jaxon Hibler, known online as Jaxon HH, is a Twitch streamer and gamer, as well as cast member on the The Fine Brothers React series. He made his debut on the latter on November 23, 2014, in the episode Kids React to Avengers: Age of Ultron, at the age of 11. He became a fan favorite within months, as shown by the comments on this video, and has been a frequent contributor since.

On January 21, 2018, Jaxon started his Twitch career. He has amassed over 800 followers and over 7,500 views as of March 12. He is frequently sarcastic during his streams, usually in reaction to getting killed or otherwise inconvenienced. Sarcastically commenting on how fine everything is while getting owned is at least a third of Twitch channel, actually. The rest is lame puns, references to memes, stories about his personal life, and periodically answering questions from his fans via the Twitch chat. Oh, and dancing. Yeah, he dances. Usually on the rare occasion that he's actually good at the game. Although, it's not so much "dancing," as it is "awkwardly moving, bending, and twisting his body".

A playlist of all the React episodes he's appeared in can be found here. His seven most recent Twitch videos can be accessed here.

His Twitch schedule is as follows: 12:00 Noon on Sundays, 4:30 PM on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The Oofing Tropes

  • Absentee Actor: As Kids and Teens React rotate all the contributors around, Jaxon is missing from a lot of episodes. His schedule since joining the cast can be described as "shoot a bunch of episodes over a short time period, then take a month off."
  • Actually Pretty Funny: Several times on React. While he didn't like Dan TDM, he laughed at a sequence where Dan died in an embarrassing way.
    • Several times on his Twitch streams as well. He'll be voicing frustration over his numerous deaths, but then he'll get killed in such a ridiculous way that he can't help but laugh at it.
  • Adorkable: Especially on Twitch. Between the awkward dancing, the cringey puns, what he reveals about his personal life through stories, the geeking out over Overwatch skins and Fortnite guns, the references to memes, the falling out of his chair, the mispronunciation of difficult words, the random dancing, and his over-the-top sarcasm about how fine and great it is that he dies over and over again, Jaxon comes off as an adolescent MatPat.
    • There's also his attempts at pick-up lines. Key word: attempts
Jaxon: Are you a bridge, because I'd walk all over you. note
    • On one Twitch stream, before he built his current computer, he kept referring to computer parts as "sexy." The PC Case, the microphone, the SSD, and even the phone stand; all are apparently "sexy." This prompted much amusement from the Twitch chat, and Jaxon had to clarify that he was not attracted to inanimate objects. He then apologized for potentially "kink-shaming" people.
    • One of his catch phrases is "Hola Soy Dora." No, seriously.
    • He made merch based on a Roblox meme. That alone qualifies him for this trope.
  • Aerith and Bob: Present among his group of friends, which include Aiden, Jake, Jamie, Jenna, Tyler...and Shiraz.
  • Amazingly Embarrassing Parents: Jaxon's mom let it slip that he has a crush on Emma Watson on the React episode to Beauty And The Beast 2017. Needless to say, he was not amused.
  • Advertisement:
  • A God Am I: Said when he racked up a four-person kill streak on a stream of Fortnite.
  • Angrish: Frequently on stream, after one too many deaths.
  • Author Appeal: Jaxon has stated that first-person shooters are his favorite game genre, so he mostly streams games like Fortnite and Overwatch.
    • He's also a fan of slow, chill hip-hop, and has an entire Spotify playlist of such music. He frequently uses it on stream.
  • Berserk Button: He's got a few:
    • One Direction. And boy band acts in general. Quote from Kids React:
Jaxon: One Direction is one of the worst bands I've ever heard!
    • Bruno Mars. Mostly because of the old videos of him singing the Lazy Song at a talent show on his dad's YouTube channel.
      • Shawn Mendez as well.
    • Viners turned YouTubers, Jake and Logan Paul. He found everything about what they do disgusting, even before Logan's infamous "Suicide Forest Vlog" video. He's mocked Logan's apology several times on stream.
    • Bullies. On Instagram, he mentioned he was bullied all throughout 7th Grade even by people who claimed to be his friends.
    • Bigotry. Notable in ''Kids React to In A Heartbeat," when reacting to judging glares the other kids give the boy with a same-sex crush:
:Jaxon: Those pieces of crap. Don't look at him like it's weird.
    • Also seen earlier in Kids React to Adele. He's not happy when he hears from the Fine Bros that people were calling Adele a poor role model because she was overweight.
    • When people swoop onto a roof he was gliding towards at the beginning of a Fortnite round. This happens all the time.
    • Friend requests. Unless you are a donor or a subscriber on Twitch, he will not accept.
    • Don't request him to play Hunniepop. Just don't.
    • Country music.
    • Having people speculate or claim that he's bi. He's straight.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Jaxon is very nice, friendly, and chill guy who supports the various fanpages of him on Instagram, has held an on stream giveaway for fans who couldn't afford to buy his merch, and rarely curses on stream. That being said, don't piss him off. In particular, if you're playing online with him, don't try to troll him. He will respond in kind, as Tyler found out in the Minecraft stream.
  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: His random dance to one of the anime themed songs on OSU! at then end of his Minecraft stream with his friends.
  • Big "NO!": Many times on stream, after coming so close to end of a level only to die at the last moment.
    • Also on Kids vs Food, when asked if he'd recommend eating Salmiakki. note
    Jaxon: NEVER!!
  • Blatant Lies: Whenever he insists that he's a "good Christian boy" who "fears Jesus."
    • When playing with his friends on Minecraft, anytime he chases after them and says he just wants to "show them something" and not hurt them.
  • Brain Bleach: Boy, did he look disturbed when his mom referred to the Beast as "almost humanly datable."
Enza: I know, it sounds real weird, I know.
  • Breakout Character: On Kids React, he quickly became popular on the React Channel's Advice and Kids vs Food series', and on Kids React proper from the Pokemon episode on. For a brief period, a fan even made him his own website (sadly, the domain has expired)! After the We Are Number One episode, he's arguably the most popular kid ever to appear on the show, save for William Sherman and Lia Marie Johnson from the early days. After he transitioned to Teens React, many people in the comments expressed surprise and sadness to see him not in Kids anymore, after being an iconic personality on the show for years.
  • Call-Back: He's done a few.
    • At the beginning of his third stream, he opened by saying, "Hi, it's Jaxon y'all." This in reference to an old video on his Dad's channel where he's making Minecraft paper mache in which he opened with the same phrase.
    • In Kids React to Face Swap App, he is introduced to said app with it set to swap his face with that of Donald Trump. His previous Kids React video was about Donald Trump himself. He doesn't like him.
    • Another Kids React, to a Winnie-The-Pooh dancing meme, had him jamming along to the Pokémon theme song. He previously was in Kids React to Pokemon, where he was in a state best described as purified nerd ecstasy.
  • The Cameo: Jaxon appeared as an extra in an episode of Anger Management. His father was one of the cinematographers on that show.
  • Captain Obvious: When trying the Face Swap app on Kids React, he decides to swap with a picture of...himself. His response? "Oh, hey I look the same!"
  • Cassandra Truth: After bragging about his prowess at Mario Kart for several streams, when he actually got around to playing it on stream, he sucked for at least half the running time. Naturally, Jaxon pleaded with his audience that "I really am great at Mario Kart! Honest!"
  • Catchphrase: Several.
    • "Oof!"
    • "Hola Soy Dora!"
    • "Okay! That's fine! That's just great! Totally fine!" note
    • "Begone thot!"
    • "Overextension is my middle name!"
  • Celebrity Is Overrated: Despite his (relatively speaking) large following on Instagram and numerous fangirls, Jaxon does not consider himself to be famous, nor does he have any desire to be.
jaxonhh: I'm just a normal kid and I treat others the way I want to be treated.
  • Chick Magnet: On Instagram. Expect to see a bunch of gushing fangirls and heart-eye emojis on any smiling picture of his.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: His opinion on his friend, Jake, who he sometimes streams Fortnite with.
Jaxon: You're so weird sometimes, man.
    • Jaxon himself sometimes crosses into this territory, with his often very obscure references to surreal Internet videos. And the one time he commented on how "thicc" the bunny form of Link in Link To The Past was.
  • Clueless Chick Magnet: He either doesn't notice that numerous girls find him attractive, or he doesn't understand why they do.
    Jaxon: "I'm hot?"
  • Cool Loser: He gives off this vibe on his Twitch streams. He's not very athletic and spends a lot of his free time playing video games or watching meme videos online, but he's got a fairly large amount of friends and a likable personality. And also a lot of fangirls.
  • Continuity Snarl: In an early episode of React: Advice, Jaxon says that he thinks that eating at McDonalds is wrong. A few months later, in another episode of Advice, he flat-out recommends you to "go to McDonalds and have a nice cheeseburger" instead of going to prom. And much later, on a Twitch stream, he explicitly says he likes McDonalds for how the food tastes.
  • Corpsing: Many times on React and on Twitch. Particularly in this ''Advice'' episode, where he loses it upon being asked what to do if you walk in on your grandma kissing Santa Claus.
  • The Cutie: Was this in his earlier Kids React episodes if the comments on YouTube, the Fine Brothers Facebook page, and Jaxon's Instagram posts are anything to go by. An early fanpage consisted almost entirely of gushing over how cute he was.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Jaxon didn't do so well in the Try Not To "Aww" Challenges.
  • Darker and Edgier: Upon graduating to Teens React, the first thing the Fines showed Jaxon was Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow," a very explicit song.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Quite a few moments of this on Twitch, but also on Kids React to Poppy:
Talking Plant: I wish you would stop killing and eating us. It hurts when we die.
Jaxon: Too bad! We need—we need food!
  • Despair Event Horizon: When constantly failing in Super Mario World
Jaxon: I'm fine! I feel great! I'm definitely not dying inside or anything!
  • Drugs Are Bad: Jaxon doesn't do drugs, and prefers to get high on life instead. And memes.
  • Early Installment Weirdness: In his earliest appearances on React: Advice, he makes some anti-technology and anti-McDonalds statements. A few months later, he's geeking out over the Apple Watch (though he ultimately doesn't recommend it, as it's too expensive and impractical, and also he doesn't like Apple products) and suggesting going to McDonalds as alternative to going to the prom.
    • On his Instagram, he used to do drawings and post them for fans back in early 2015. He largely stopped doing this after he hit 1,000 followers
    • He comes off as more nervous and introverted in his earliest React and Advice episodes. By mid-2015, however, he became more confident on camera and notably more energetic and talkative.
    • Also when he started out, he looked younger than 11 because he was quite short and had a high-pitched voice. For most of Kids React, he consistently looked about two years younger than he was. Since joining Teens, he's had a noticeable growth spurt, his voice has deepened, and he now looks his age (14).
      • If you want to take this trope farther, the old videos on his Dad's channel have him singing Bruno Mars "Lazy Song" (a song he now utterly despises), and performing the tango for his school dance. Then there's the surreal video of him making the Minecraft paper mache...but we never see him, only his hands as he shows us what he made. And as with his older Kids React stuff, he looks two years younger than he is in all of his dad's videos, too.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: Not on camera, but in his personal life, he was pushed around by bullies who pretended to be his friends throughout much of Middle School. Eventually, he stood up to them and threw them out of his life, and became much happier in the process.
  • Even the Guys Want Him: He has quite a few fans who are boys. That being said, he's straight. Let's leave it at that.
  • Even Nerds Have Standards: Yes, he's a HUGE fan of Pokemon, Star Wars, the Marvel movies, and video games in general. But he is emphatically NOT a part of any Fandom because he thinks they're weird.
    • He has several nerdy hobbies and interests, and own several shirts and merch based on them via Lootcrate, but he doesn't define his entire personality or identity around it, and is creeped out by the people who do. Don't scream "Wub-A-Lubba-Dub-Dub" in his face just because he's wearing a Rick and Morty shirt; he WILL think you're a weirdo.
  • The Everyman: He describes himself as "just a normal kid."
  • Extraverted Nerd: Downplayed. He's open about his hobbies and interests traditionally seen as "nerdy" (gaming, comic book movies, cartoons) as well as more niche interests such as woodcarving (which you wouldn't expect someone his age to have), but he's not as obnoxious about it as most examples of this trope are.
  • Face Palm: Many times
  • Fan Disservice: It's disturbing how many comments requesting he take his shirt off and/or do something sexual he gets on his Instagram. Even back during the Kids React era.
  • Flat "What": Frequently.
  • From Bad to Worse: A recurring theme on his Twitch streams. Jaxon will be doing badly on one level, then he'll start to improve...and then he'll start getting killed by the same random enemy over and over.
  • Funny Background Event: Sometimes while he's streaming, one of his dogs will walk into the room and start sniffing around.
    • On at least two occasions, Jaxon's mom has photobombed his streams.
  • Furry: Subverted. He was just playing around when he called Link's bunny form "sexy". Didn't stop his fans from making jokes in the chat, though.
  • The Gadfly: His friend Jake certainly qualifies, as he delights in yanking Jaxon's chain at every available opportunity.
    • Jaxon himself shows shades of this, if his origin story of the "Thank God I'm an Atheist" shirt is truthful. note
  • Getting Crap Past the Radar: Somehow was allowed to reference Rick and Morty several times while on Kids React. Twice he wore a Rick and Morty shirt. One of those times was in a reaction video to The Room. He was still on Kids when they reacted to The Room. Yeah.
  • Gosh Dang It to Heck!: Rarely cusses, either on React or on Twitch. He wasn't allowed to when he was on Kids. He's allowed to on Teens, he just chooses not to.
    • Jaxon mentioned on one stream than he "can" cuss. He just doesn't want to.
    • On another stream, when someone asked if he cussed, he said, "Of course. I just don't cuss often."
    • He says milder cuss words, like "damn," "crap," "hell", and "ass". He said a harder cuss word—"shit"—during his first stream, when he was particularly frustrated by a boss.
    • In the rules section on his Discord, he says "have some gosh darn hecking fun," practically parodying the trope.
  • Guilty Pleasure: Some of his fans suspect him of being a closeted Roblox fan.
    • It's obvious that he's not just watching Lazy Town for the memes.
    • He's quoted Dora the Explorer and Barney on stream. Makes you think, doesn't it?
  • Heh Heh, You Said "X": He found it amusing when 69 people were in his Twitch chat.
    • His friends were rather amused when he talked about the "dongle" on the Building the New Computer stream.
  • Hollywood Nerd: Jaxon is not unattractive by any means, despite his claims to be the "opposite of a hottie." He's capable of looking quite handsome when he puts the effort in. In fact, he's modeled for several photoshoots on his Instagram. Personality wise, he's quite chill, friendly, and easy-going.
  • Hypocritical Humor: On an Overwatch stream, he tells his friends to knock it off on the quasi-homophobic jokes because there might be gay people in the chat. Less than five minutes later, he calls Tyler gay.
  • I Need a Freaking Drink: A PG-version, obviously, since he's only fourteen, but he often needs to get a drink of water after failing at a level over and over again.
  • Incredibly Lame Pun: All the time.
  • Insult Backfire: His attempts at insulting his friends on stream are...unimpressive, to say the least.
  • Jaw Drop: An impressive one from Kids React to Furbies. note
    • On one of his livestreams, a fan by the name of D3tection donated $250. This was Jaxon's initial reaction, followed by a dumbfounded stare lasting for several seconds as his brain tries to process what just happened.
  • Lame Comeback: Jaxon is completely out of his league whenever his friends roast him, as seen be the previously mentioned, "you have a butt on your butt" quote.
  • Manipulative Editing: His fans will do this when making Rage or Funny Moment Compilations of his streams.
  • Metaphorgotten: As with insults and comebacks, Jaxon is not good with metaphors.
  • Mood Whiplash: In Kids React to Slap Her, Jaxon is laughing and finding the video cute. Then the narrator asks the boys to slap the girl. Cue the Big "WHAT?!".
  • Nerdgasm: In the Pokemon and We Are Number One episodes of Kids React:
Jaxon: What is wrong with their lives? How do they not know such beauty!
Jaxon: These videos are amazing! Oh my God! Who wouldn't want to spend their time on their phones in the their beds, just watching pure, quality, Robbie Rotten!?
  • Never Live It Down: The video of him singing the Lazy Song for a talent show in 2012.
  • Nice Guy: One of the reasons he got so popular. He's a sweetheart who supports all of his fans, leaves nice comments on fanart, holds giveaways for people who can't afford his merch, gives out comforting advice to depressed fans, sometimes answers direct messages, and loves animals.
jaxonhh: Well, what if I say you're awesome?
jaxonhh: We are ALL number one!
jaxonhh: You deserve to be happy.
    • His mom explained in the comments of a now deleted fan edit that he doesn't like to make other fanpages feel bad, so he rarely reposts fan art. When he does, he's sure to tag the fan so that they get a potential follower boost.
    • He enjoys Lazy Town. Unironically. You can't do that and be a Jerkass. It's scientifically impossible.
    • He let his fans play with him on one of his streams. Not a lot of streamers will do this.
  • Not That There's Anything Wrong with That: After clarifying on stream that he's not attracted to inanimate objects, he apologizes if he kink shamed anyone.
  • Offscreen Moment of Awesome: After being killed over and over again while playing Fortnite, and finishing in the Top Ten twice (4th place and 5th place), he's finally won a match...and it wasn't streamed.
  • Older Than They Look: When he started Kids React, he was 11 and looked like he was 9. He consistently looked two years younger than he was until Teens, when he had a growth spurt and now looks his actual age (14 as of this edit).
  • Old Shame: As mentioned previously, the old videos on his dad's YouTube channel.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: He normally doesn't cuss outside of the more mild profanities. If he starts dropping hard cuss words (F-bombs, S-bombs) by the truckload, it means he's pissed.
  • Open-Minded Parent: His parents allowed him to cosplay as the Scout and post it on Instagram when he was twelve. In the comments section, his friends mention playing GTA with him. Again, he was twelve at the time.
    • Also when he was twelve, his parents were letting him watch Rick and Morty.
  • People Fall Off Chairs: Twice on stream so far.
  • Periphery Demographic: He seems to love the iCarly theme song. Who would have expected that?
  • Precision F-Strike: "You gotta be shitting me!" note
  • Pretty Fly for a White Guy: On the computer building stream, he turns his Oof Hat sideways and flashes several gang signs. He looks so white he makes Vanilla Ice look like Tupac Shakur in comparison.
  • Proud to Be a Geek: You don't wear Angry Birds shirts on camera if you're not.
  • Pungeon Master
  • Rage Breaking Point: Several times on his Super Mario World streams.
  • Real Life Writes the Plot: He postponed a much-hyped Mario Kart tournament because so many of his friends couldn't make it.
  • Running Gag: Several.
    • "Hola Soy Dora!"
    • "Okay! That's fine! Totally fine!" note
    • Bragging about how awesome he is in Mario Kart.
    • Whenever he's playing Fortnite with Jake, count on Jake trying to goad the fans into spamming the Twitch chat with random nonsense while Jaxon's away
    • Taco Tuesday.
    • Jaxon taking the time to clarify that what he's saying is not suggestive or inappropriate if it could even slightly be interpreted as such.
    • On Discord, there are periodic debates on whether or not water is wet.
  • Sanity Slippage: In the various Poppy episodes of Kids React. He gets more paranoid and jumpy with each episode.
  • Sarcasm Mode: Constantly on Twitch, what with him declaring that everything is fine and it's all totally cool while he's dying left and right.
  • Screams Like a Little Girl: A source of constant entertainment.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here!: In Kids React to Donald Trump, upon being told that Trump is winning a lot of the Republican primaries, Jaxon just stands up and leaves without missing a beat.
  • Shaped Like Itself: "You have a butt on your butt!"
  • Sincerity Mode: When he reached his donation goal for his new computer, note  he was genuinely moved to tears and didn't know how to thank his audience.
    • He says it a lot, but he really does appreciate the fact that people watch his streams, donate money to him, and just support him otherwise.
  • Skewed Priorities: In a PUBG stream, he looks around for a cool gun rather than try to get out of the red zone.
  • Something Completely Different: The computer building stream was obviously a big change from Mario and Zelda.
    • And after the new computer was build, he switched to playing mostly shooters like Overwatch, Fortnite, and PUBG.
      • And did it again, when he held a Minecraft stream with his friends, and a Mario Kart stream a few days later.
  • Sophisticated as Hell: He sometimes does a mock impression of an evangelical preacher (Don't ask.) He will drop gaming slang like "get rekt" and "git gud" into the speeches.
  • Squick: Boy, did he look disturbed when his mom referred to the Beast as "almost humanly dateable."
  • Stunned Silence: On his second Twitch stream, he received multiple donations of $100 or more. A $250 one from D3tection leaves him in shock for a few seconds.
  • Suspiciously Specific Denial: When he's asked if he prefers Coke or Pepsi, he says that Coke is where it's at. He then clarifies that he doesn't mean the drug. Completely unprompted.
  • Take a Third Option: When asked if he's a nerd or an athlete.
Jaxon: I guess I'm a bit of both. I'm on the golf team, yet I'm a big nerd.
  • Take That!: Many, many times
    • To the Kardashians in Advice #27
    • To people afraid of Five Nights At Freddys in Advice #28:
Jaxon: Get over it! It's not that scary, it's just a little jump scare. *scowls* Babies...
    • In one Advice episode, the question is about how to be like Kanye West. Jaxon's response?
Jaxon: To be like Kanye West, you gotta be a hater of everything.
    • Another shot at Kanye is fired in the Bonus video for the Trump episode
  • Tempting Fate: Many times, on React and on Twitch.
    • In ''Do Kids Know Classic Disney Songs'', Jaxon smugly states that he's gonna do well because his great-grandfather wrote the opening speech to Disneyland. note  He gets only one song right.
    • On multiple Twitch streams, he bragged that "no one can beat me at Mario Kart," and that he was the best person he knew at it. Guess what happened when he finally played it on stream?
    • Crossing over with Hilarious in Hindsight, on an early Advice episode, Jaxon mocked the people who were afraid of Five Nights at Freddy's because it was "just a little jump scare." Three years later, when Jaxon starts streaming, he doesn't even have to play a horror game to get scared shitless. Simply getting killed in PUBG makes him jump out of his seat.
    • In a 2015 Advice episode, someone asks how they can make an impact on the world. Jaxon recommends that they try and run for President. Guess who ran for president and won the next year?
  • Unfortunate Implications: On the Minecraft stream, Jaxon discussed an aggressive kid named Gary who threatened to cut the Mercedes logo off of Jaxon's shirt because he was obsessed with Mercedes. Jaxon said that he thought he was "special needs or something...all I know for sure is he's a weirdo." He probably didn't intend it this way, but it came off as prejudiced towards kids on the spectrum to some people. YMMV, of course.
  • Waxing Lyrical: A few streams featured music tracks suggested by the fans. Jaxon sang along—and danced along—to his favorites.
  • Wise Beyond His Years: Has his moments on Kids React, notably in the "Slap Her" episode:
:Jaxon: Being a man isn't just being...isn't just being strong, or manly, or awesome. I mean, it's not just that. But it's being...kind to others.
    • Kids vs Food: Natto revealed that he knew what "fermented" meant at the age of eleven.
    • Subverted on his Twitch streams; he acts like a normal 14-year-old for the most part, except in one case where a fan mentioned a friend with suicidal tendencies in the chat. His response:
Jaxon: If you guys are having suicidal thoughts...please tell someone. Or just call the National Suicide Hotline. Or something that'll help...because... there's always someone here for you.
  • Xtreme Kool Letterz: The way his name is spelled. J-A-X-O-N.
  • Your Mom: To be expected when playing multiplayer games.

"No one can beat me in Mario Kart, okay? It's just that simple!"

How well does it match the trope?
