Cat Muto is a YouTube personality.

Originally doing very little on her channel and having random videos about games, she decided to focus more on Let's Plays in 2012, following a jaw operation that altered her way of speaking and uses commentated Let's Plays as a form of speech training.

Most of her Let's Plays revolve around older games, generally on the Super Nintendo.

Videos contain Examples of

  • Accentuate the Negative: If something in a game is negative, you can bet she'll point it out and emphasize it.
  • Ambiguously Bi: She's straight, but admits she has a huge crush on Maaya Sakamoto.
  • Angrish: Gets to this when really angered, spluttering and stuttering through simple sentences. Her voice gets more high-pitched, too.
  • The Faceless: Has yet to reveal her face.
  • Flat "What": When a game does or expects her to do something really stupid.
  • Gratuitous Foreign Language: Being fluent in multiple languages, this can happen at times. Most noticeable with German, since she is half-German.
  • Genre Savvy: To the point that she can see most plot twists coming miles away.
  • Idiosyncratic Episode Naming
    • All the videos of her Persona 3 Let's Play have Latin titles that always involve Memento first, as a reference to the game's opening having Memento Mori in it. As for how accurate those Latin words are, though...

    • For Cube's videos in Live A Live, the titles are all references to Science Fiction movies or TV Shows.
  • Orphaned Series: Her Oracle of Ages Let's Play, due to the last recording of it being too old to be of any use anymore and because she got tired of the repetitive, puzzle-heavy gameplay. Also her Pokémon Emerald Nuzlocke because of losing interesting and deleting the file.
  • Pet-Peeve Trope invoked
    • Childhood Friend Romance for rarely ever doing anything new or interesting with the trope.
    • Despises the 'sympathetic villain' angle, citing she'd rather see a basic villain whose entire reason for doing things is for giggles and evil, instead of getting yet another villain one is supposed to be sorry for invoked when none of their actions excuse anything. She does note that she expects them to appear in Tales Of...' games, though.

  • Running Gag: In her Tei route of her Nameless Let's Play, she makes running gags about Tei repeatedly spiking Eri's tea and other beverages.
  • Shout-Out
    • An unintentional one during Case 4 of Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney, where she accidentally voices Larry Butz's line of "But... why?" in Tristan Timothy Taylor's voice.
    • Has mentioned Santa Christ in her videos in mock prayer.
    • When Tei asks if Eri is attempting to enter her diary, she says she might find out who opened The Chamber Of Secrets.
    • In Amnesia: Later for Kent's route, the heroine and Kent have gone to a laundromat to wash his futon.
      • Same route, the heroine goes through Kent's notebook where he's been writing down new recipes.
CatMuto: He's come up with a new invoked recipeh!
  • Woman Of A Thousand Voices: Changes her voice for each character in her Ace Attorney videos, though some voices repeat themselves.
  • Yaoi Fangirl: Freely admits that she is one.
