BenjaMage is a YouTube content creator who primarily specialises in Reviews, Countdowns and Livestreams. He is most well known for his reviews on "Obscure" games.
And now for silly tropes with Ben:
- Author Appeal: Despite his avatar being modeled after a class from Final Fantasy, expect him to talk about 3D platformers and kart racers more than anything else. He'll also make VeggieTales references every chance he gets.
- The Cameo: Ben appears in Gun Kitty Episode 3 as an anthro shark version of himself where he gives a guitar to a main character from the comic, Ace Lang. Ben also appeared in Mistress Dove's 6th Generation Scooby Doo Games video.
- Real Men Love Jesus: Benjamin is a proud Christian, while also being very open-minded. During an intermission on his Pokémon Snap livestream, he took the time to read off some of his favorite Bible verses, some of which being comedic. For example...
- Rule of Three: Ben has created a trilogy of videos about obscure kart racing games.
- Sdrawkcab Speech: Whenever Ben casts a spell, he'll talk backwards. One such example is during his Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer review when he changes the theme of the episode to Christmas. If you reverse it, it is revealed he says "Why weren't you at elf practice?!"
- Shout-Out:
- Ben uses a spellbook that looks exactly like Journal #3 from Gravity Falls; also, as noted above, all of his spells are in backwards talk, a very common occurrence in the show.
- One that pops up in the gameplay video for Shrek Superslam: When Ben accidently turns invisible due to a bug, a joke is made about Ben playing as Chun Li, referencing Lythero's (at the time) recently released Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom video where Lee had accidently played with a mod that removed Chun Li's model.
- Straight Man: Ben acts as this in Mistress Dove's 6th Generation Scooby Doo Games video.
