AirPro Texts contains examples of:

  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: The antagonist will always beg the protagonist that they wronged to help them, after they've had enough of their mistreatment.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Tina seemed to be the perfect girlfriend to Rod. However it turned out that she lied to Rod about his mother abusing her when in reality she had found out that she was cheating on him and had a dark past.
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: The protagonist's texts are usually in a blue window while the antagonist and other characters are sent in a white window.
  • Domestic Abuse: Tom has a volatile temper and would often throw things at his wife Jan whenever he doesn't get his way. He once threw a remote at her, but it ended up hitting his baby Fiona resulting her having to get stitches. Jan divorced Tom after the incident and his uncle cut off business ties with him.
  • Ignoring the Doctor: After discovering that her daughter Ana has food allergies, Chloè decides to follow the doctor's advice and avoid feeding Ana anything containing things Ana is allergic to. Unfortunately, Chloè's mother-in-law thinks she knows more about allergies than trained medical professionals, insisting that it's possible to cure allergies by feeding them to someone. Sadly, Ana's father buys his mother's nonsense and feeds Ana foods she's allergic to, and almost kills her. Chloè is infuriated after finding out what her husband did, and divorces him.
  • I Have No Son!:
    • Lucy's mother disowned her, after she found out that she had been leaving her children all alone to go on dates, and her affair is the reason why she and Eric got a divorce.
    • Jordan's mother disowned him after she found out that he lied about his wife May accidentally using his credit card and not being in a good financial situation to get money from her.
  • Obnoxious In-Laws: Erin despised her daughter-in-law Rachel, because the latter had given birth to a daughter rather than a son. When Rachel left Tammy with Erin, she started to talk badly about Rachel and when Tammy told her off, she spanked her and locked her in the shed. Tammy messaged her mother crying about it and her father came to pull her out of the house. Rachel and her husband cut Erin out of their lives after that.
  • Parental Neglect:
    • Tia often leaves Cheri and her younger sister Avery alone to cheat on her husband and even told Cheri not to tell anyone about it. One time, Cheri had to call her grandmother because she got lost trying to take Avery to the hospital. In the end, Tia got divorced from her husband and he got custody of the kids.
    • Tim was left alone by his parents. As a result he is often hungry, and has to go to his aunt Melissa's for food. Eventually, Tim's mother told him to sleep in his dog Spot's doghouse while she left for a trip. When Melissa found out, she took him in and called out his mother for what she did. Tim's parents got arrested for child neglect.
  • Plot Allergy: Ana has a lot of allergies and has to eat special foods. Despite this, Nate and his mother believe that they could "cure" Ana's allergies by feeding her allergens. Against the advice of the doctors and his wife, Nate decided to pack a lunch full of Ana's allergens. Fortunately her teacher stopped her before she could eat much but she had to be rushed to the hospital. When Nate's wife found out, she was furious and divorced him.
  • Turned Off by the Jerkass: Judy is an extremely shallow woman who constantly verbally abuses her daughter in-law Hannah for being ugly as well as her own granddaughter for looking like Hannah. Judy's hatred and shallowness is so great that she wishes that her own granddaughter was stillborn after seeing her and tries (and fails) to destroy her son's marriage by setting him up with a more beautiful woman. Justin, her husband who actually loves Hannah and his granddaughter, was so infuriated at Judy's words and actions that he divorced her.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Alex's mother Casey locked him in the trunk of her car just because he wanted to live with his father instead of her. Fortunately he was rescued and Casey was arrested.
