A Sad Story of Edward, Gordon, and Henry is a Thomas parody that was originally written as a SiF (Sodor Island Fansite) story by Bono. The video is a parody of the Thomas & Friends episodes "The Sad Story of Henry" and "Edward, Gordon, and Henry." The video was published in May 2013 by Bad Marooned Productions.
- Adaptational Personality Change: Henry has become even more of a Jerkass and Sir Topham Hatt has become a very lazy figure who's obsessed with food.
- Adaptational Jerkass:
- Sir Topham Hatt gets hit with this hard. He only runs the railway for the sake of getting money, yells at Thomas and sends the poor tank engine to therapy by verbally abusing him, and attacks a waiter on the express for a pie. He even lampshades this by saying he's a "fat slob" with a spoiled wife.
- Not that Henry's any better. He yells at the narrator to shut up at the beginning, insults the passengers when they try and argue with him, yells profanities at Edward and Gordon when they pass the tunnel and tells Topham to throw himself off a bridge when the latter kindly asks if he'll help pull the train.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: At the start of the story, Henry tells the narrator to shut up.
- The Cameo: Peter Kay appears at one point and dares Sir Topham Hatt to pull the express.
- Exit, Pursued by a Bear: Sir Topham Hatt falls out of the express near the end into a goat field where a herd of angry goats chased him for eating their kibble.
- Fat Comic Relief: Sir Topham Hatt. A lot of the jokes in the story are about his weight.
- Glad I Thought of It: Sir Topham Hatt says this word for word when Gordon suggests that Henry pull the express. But when Henry refuses, he tells Gordon that it was a stupid idea..
- Jerkass Has a Point: When the passengers try to pull Henry out of the tunnel with a rope, Henry scoffs and says they can't pull out an 80-ton steam engine. He isn't wrong as the second after saying that the rope the passengers pull snaps and causes them to fall over.
- Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: Even after pulling the express, Henry is still rude when Sir Topham Hatt says something will be done about his attitude problem.
- Kick the Dog: When Thomas is brought in to push Henry out of the tunnel, he is sent to see a psychiatrist because of the abuse Sir Topham Hatt gave him for not trying to do the job properly.
- Never My Fault: When Sir Topham Hatt causes Gordon and the express to stop due to his weight, Topham remarks on how he never liked the big engines.
- Oh, Crap!: When the express stops near the tunnel Henry is bricked up in, Henry says "oh crud, fatty's back."
- Pet the Dog: Topham willingly volunteering to get rid of the brick wall Henry was trapped under.
- Only in It for the Money: When Sir Topham Hatt yells at the passengers for failing to get Henry out of the tunnel, he wonders why he bothers giving them train rides, only for his assistants to remind him that he wants the passengers' money. Topham agrees with this whole-heartedly.
- Precision F-Strike: When the waiter on the express notices Topham, he shouts out "Oh shit!" right before Topham jumps on him.
- Tempting Fate: When Henry is freed and as he backs down onto the express, he says "Quick, Edward! Let's get out of here before tubby gets onboard!" However, he spoke too soon as Topham's back on the express and chasing the waiter again.
- The Voiceless: Edward and Thomas both appear, but they have no lines.
- This Is Gonna Suck: Twice.
- Gordon groans "Oh Lord" as Topham get onto the express, causing a strain on his coupling.
- The waiter on the express looks at Topham, who really wants the giant cream pie he has on his trolley, gasps, and yells "Oh shit! Not you!".
- You Are Fat: A lot of jokes are made about Topham's weight and Henry frequently calls him "fatty".
