Eric Wise, also known as Scare Theater, is a Youtube user known for his analysis of real life mysteries, Creepypastas and every type of media that could scare innocent viewers. For example, he debunks the famous Japanese Kleenex commercial that was supposedly cursed and finds about missing persons, explaining odd behaviors of eccentric Youtube users, among other things. If you are easily frightened, disgusted or offended this channel may not be for you.

  • Cloud Cuckoo Lander: Many examples per each video. For instance, Refbatch, a Russian woman found ranting in the street and on camera, in Russian and occasionally Gratuitous English. The man who does nothing but sit and smile into the camera, the woman who silently stares into the camera and cries.
  • Content Warning: Like in the description, Eric often forewarned more extreme foreboding videos.
  • Dead Guy on Display: More like dead female on display. A Deliberately Monochrome video perceived to be fake in which, "Robert Helpmann" bathes a corpse named Daisy, stabs it, etc. The body is said to be out of proportion in size and not real, says one user. Which can be summed up with the phrase, "...Or So I Heard". Creepy backmasked 1920s songs play.
  • Domestic Abuse / Bastard Boyfriend: Speculated with Marina Joyce. Is this All Part of the Show or are the bruises on her arms, the contradictory comments about her being okay then not okay, part of some abuse? Her odd behavior, such as being enthusiastic about a band then suddenly stopping and looking into the camera, as if someone told her to stop is speculated to be part of the insanity and trauma.

  • Early Installment Weirdness: His very earliest uploads are largely focused on Creepypastas, which he basically never talks about nowadays.
  • Ghost Town: Eric explores Frick's Lock, an almost empty ghost town; though he almost got caught hopping a fence.
  • Grave Robbing: Discussed in an analysis of the Ensuring Your Place In Hell DVD.
  • I Am A Humanitarian: Cooking with Huck Botko, the man claims to be avid cook of Long pork. If you arent familar with the term, here is a link below:
  • Machine Monotone/ Pygmalion Plot: The "I Feel Fantastic" video has an Uncanny Valley robot sing in a Creepy Monotone. In the description of the original Youtube video, as mentioned in the analysis, some Robo Sexual vibes were given out. A Shout-Out to Pygmalion from Greek mythology was referenced (who wanted to create the perfect woman).
  • Missing White Woman Syndrome / Seeking the Missing, Finding the Dead- Many videos, including the one of the young Asian woman talking to her self in the elevator and mysteriously finding her dead remnants in the water supply. Also, the 112 dirtbag videos and his strange behavior and possible link to missing (white) person Maura Murray.

  • Rape as Backstory: On "Mr Katiya's" wall (a Non-Indicative Name as she is a woman), a half Room Full of Crazy, we find etchings about speculated harassment. A case of Rape Leads to Insanity?
  • Stalker with a Crush: Possibly played for laughs with Youtube user/ supposed member of Furry Fandom Beeblefox to another Youtube user Orange Citrus. He even makes a Companion Cube version of her. Creepy! (It's speculated that she is in on it).
  • Vocal Evolution: His voice is noticeably deeper in his later videos, which can be chalked up to puberty, as he was only 15 years old when he first uploaded.
  • Widget Series: Some of the Deranged Animation Eric finds and shares with us.
  • Wise Beyond Their Years: Was often called this in his earlier years, as he had turned 16 shortly after the creation of his channel and many fans were surprised to learn how young he was due to his research skills and professional commentary.
