, also known as Meanies Comic, is a webcomic created by grimharlequin that began on December 31, 2017. It bridges the gap between Blue Meanie from Yellow Submarine and The Noid, to create a species called "meanies", who each hate a particular sense (since The Noid hates pizza, and the Blue Meanie hates music).
Meanies Comic contains the following tropes:
- Ascended Meme: The Noid in general. Also, Hatsune Miku works at Domino's.
- Adaptational Sexuality:
- The Noid is transgender.
- When Steve from Minecraft shows up, they're wearing a trans flag pin, heavily implying that they're transgender.
- Befriending the Enemy: Rainbow Meanie becomes an ally later.
- Bizarre Taste in Food: The Noid puts ice cubes on pizza, although he presumably doesn't eat it.
- Colour-Coded for Your Convenience: The main cast, including each character's name...Except for the Noid, but Invoked since "Red Meanie" is his deadname.
- Embarrassing Browser History: Subverted. The Noid seemingly leaves his internet browser open with the search history prominently displayed in order to deliberately show his housemates that he was googling how to change his legal name and come out as trans without needing to directly confront anyone with it, except that it was actually a notepad application instead of a search browser that he manually typed "internet history" into and the Purple Meanie didn't bother to read it anyway.
- Generic Graffiti: Pink Meanie just sprays "Hi" on the family car.
- The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: Orange and Pink meanie.
- The Power of Love: Green saying he loves him is what allows Purple to transform into his 'true form', which involves an outfit change and growing wings.
- The Power of Rock: The rest of the Meanies form and band and play a song to help Purple save Yellow's humanity and restore her to normal when she's on a rampage. Green comments that since they're not musicians, their music is actually extremely bad, though it still works.
- Put on a Bus: The New Year's comic has the Blue Meanie leaving tearfully to move in with his boyfriend, with the author saying it's because they don't know how to write him.
- Real After All: The North American House Hippo.
- Recurring Extra: Moon Man is there sometimes.
- Sense Freak: Inverted - The 5 main meanies hate a sense each.
- Themed Cursor: There's a Running Gag where Green Meanie likes them enough to mess up the family computer.
- Weird Crossover: The entire premise between the Blue Meanie and the Noid, but other characters like the McDonald's Moon Man and Hatsune Miku also have minor roles.
