"We Keep Service Abreast!"

"Welcome to Boobies!"

The Soul Society's Women Association has found itself in heavy debt. In order to pay it off, Kisuke Urahara hires them at his newly opened "family restaurant" in Karakura Town. Misadventures, hijinks, and Hilarity Ensues.

Bleach: Happy to Serve You, based on the manga and anime franchise Bleach, is a comedic, Ecchi, Alternative-Universe fan comic on DeviantArt written by HardcoreHunter and drawn by Gairon, which began Fall 2011 and ended on Fall 2020. The pages are uploaded to Gairon's account. Much of the comic can be considered NSFW. If she’s female and from the Bleach universe, expect her to show up. Unless she's a Fullbring or a Quincy.

The first page can be found with this link. The entire comic can be purchased through Gumroad.

Tropes:

  • 10-Minute Retirement: In October 2014, Gairon's Deviantart account got a 1-month ban after posting an image with a tiny nip slip of a fictional underage character. The comic updated on Hardcorehunter's account until Gairon got his back.
  • Accidental Pervert: Ichigo and Toshiro have both gotten into perverted scenarios over the course of the series.
  • A-Cup Angst: Both Hiyori and Momo have this. They are both members of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee, along with Nanao, Soifon, Rukia, and Kiyone.
  • Adaptational Badass: Tatsuki was no slouch in the manga, having a vague sense of spiritual energy and putting up a fight against one of the early Hollows. Here, she unlocks her own Zanpakuto and is able to utilize it effectively with minimal training.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Orihime's mother in the manga was described as abusive, to the point where Sora and Orihime ran away. Here, their mother, known as Tentei, is much nicer and personable. While she's not a great student and is an underage, unwed mother, she does her best to raise Sora and is very friendly.
  • Adapted Out: In canon, while he's never seen outside of supplementary material, Ikumi has a husband that she's in a loving relationship with. Here, Ikumi is a single mother, with Kaoru's father being a time displaced Ichigo, who accidentally caused a Stable Time Loop when Shirosaki took over his body and slept with Ikumi before they went back to the present.
  • Adorably Precocious Child: Nanao was this as shown by a photo Lisa still carries with her.
  • All Just a Dream: Parodied to hell and back with the series' conclusion. At first it appears that the entire series was Wonderweiss playing with a snow globe a la St. Elsewhere and Aizen having fallen asleep shortly after Orihime restored the Hogyoku, only for him to wake up again, this time sealed away and talking to Kyoraku during the Thousand Year War arc. However, it then becomes Or Was It a Dream? when Aizen hear's Gin whispering in his ear again, unclear if any of this did happen, if Aizen is still dreaming, or if he's just gone insane.
  • And I Must Scream: Aizen's punishment, as in canon, was to be imprisoned without access to his senses... but this time, with the ghost of Gin hanging around. He immediately agrees to help Urahara just so he wouldn't have to go through that again.
  • Animation Bump: Some of the comics have animated segments via coded swf files, activated by scrolling over them or clicking on the page.
  • Art Evolution: The art has gotten quite better over the years. Compare the first page to one from over two years later.
  • Art Shift: The comic has three distinct styles. There is the default style, a chibi style, and a softer, sensual style used for intensely sexy scenes, such as the top right panels here.
  • Aside Glance: Senna and Orihime give one after Senna says simply "I got better," as the reason for her recovery.
  • Ax-Crazy: Kensei's first idea to stop a tsundere-off between Nel and Hiyori involves a steak knife.
  • Balanced Harem: Ichigo and Hitsugaya both have a diverse roster of girls around them.
  • Back from the Dead:
    • Senna isn't erased from existence any more ("I got better"). And despite Starrk, Lilynette, Ulquiorra, and Circucci having died, they are all available to work at Taco Aizen.
    • In-comic, the usual reaction when someone dies (most often Loly) is to go fetch Orihime. It's usually undone within a page.
  • Balloon Belly: Yachiru after eating all the candy that put the Shinigami Woman's Society in debt.
  • Behind the Black: Taco Aizen was being built right next door and nobody noticed until the first commercial aired.
  • Bestiality Is Depraved: Similar to Tsukihime, Urahara makes a reference to the infamous "That's all right... A cat is fine, too" doujinshi line after Yoruichi transforms into her cat form.
  • Big-Breast Pride: Yachiru literally shoves her new, big breasts into Momo's face.
  • Big Brother Worship: Harribel of all people has a case of this for Nel! Yuzu feels this way for Ichigo, to the point of burying his victims' corpses in the backyard.
  • Big Fun: Kintama is a rotund, jovial tanuki zanpaktou spirit whose personality shifts any time he takes a swig of alcohol, who can shape-shift into being 7 feet tall, who values the idea of having fun, and who can materialize 5-star gourmet dishes out of thin air.
  • Big Red Button: Urahara makes a portable one that, when pressed seperates and materializes the Inner Hollows of the Vizored's.
  • Black Comedy: Nemu's employment as the kitchen's oven, which crosses the line more times than can even be counted.
  • Bloody Hilarious: Things do not work out well for Loly when she attacks Nel, giving a Slutshaming rant on her Heel–Face Turn...before Harribel copies Grimmjow and blows her head off with a Cero. Played for Laughs, courtesy of Orihime's Shun-Shun-Rikka.
  • Bouncer: The job Zaraki takes at the restaurant. Even though it's not a night club, it's still an important job considering the types of waitresses there...
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Chapter 10's cover page features Loly and Menoly with cans of spray paint, having just written "Taco Aizen" over the usual comic logo, and writing "THESE losers" with an arrow pointing to Gairon's DA gallery page URL.
  • Breast Expansion: After seeing Rangiku in a super-tight T-shirt, Momo and Hiyori both imagine themselves with giant chests.
  • The Cameo:
    • The Fullbringers make a short appearance despite not having met the cast yet except for Chad, and not having any effect on the main story.
    • The Soul Reapers' Zanpaktou spirits from the anime's filler arc have a two-page appearance in a flashback.
    • Shinigami-sama, or Lord Death, from Soul Eater, makes a one-page appearance, lines and all.
  • Canon Foreigner: So far we have:
    • Nel's teenage form, resulting from an alteration to the crack in her skull mask.
    • This comic's version of Samhain
    • The Hollow forms of all the Vizards besides Ichigo
    • A toddler Zaraki
    • Late-teenage Yachiru Kenpachi, who is a rambunctious, deadly killer, and who takes in toddler Zaraki as her own
    • Kintama, a gigantic, fun-loving tanuki who is Tatsuki's awakened zanpaktou spirit
  • Characterization Marches On: Surprisingly, Chappy actually spoke in her first appearance, and appeared to be a waitress. Now she only says "hop" and she is mainly seen acting cute instead of doing work.
  • Chick Magnet: Ichigo. Tatsuki, Orihime, Rukia, Nel, and Senna all pine for him.
  • Childhood Friend Romance Tatsuki has feelings for Ichigo and thinks she knows him the best out of the girls. Nel also sees Ichigo as her childhood friend since she met him when she was first in her child form.
  • Clothing Damage: Kenpachi and Unohana's clothes are very torn up after their "discussion".
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Orihime, Mashiro, Nel, Senna, Chappy and Kyu Roku often have their head in the clouds oblivious to the situation.
  • Color Failure: Nanao does not do well under the intimidating stature that is a pissed off Zaraki. Ichigo suffers a more comedic example when he first enters Boobies.
  • Cosplay: A fair amount of it for the Halloween Episode, including:
  • Clueless Chick-Magnet: Ichigo. Almost every girl he meets ends up with at least a crush on him, and he's oblivious to all of it.
  • Crossover:
    • One of the after-chapter specials has a quick crossover with Death Note.
    • There's another with...... Regular Show.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Yammamoto when he was young in the Halloween chapter was more worried about how cool he looked doing something than how effective he actually was. He only got serious when his hair was burnt off, which he had styled just for attracting ladies. But when he did get serious, Zanka no Tachi (his Bankai) proved to be just as powerful and destructive as it is in modern times, and he's able to quickly defeat Samhain with it.
  • Custom Uniform of Sexy: There is a standard Boobies uniform, but some of the girls add their own touches to it. Lisa has several extra straps on hers, and Mashiro wears armbands.
  • Cute Mute: Chappy
  • Cuteness Proximity: A Blood Knight version is what endeared Little!Zaraki to Yachiru Unohana. She adopted him as her Shoulder Shota.
  • Death Glare: How Unohana convinces Isane to put on the Boobies uniform.
  • Deliberately Cute Child: Invoked by Urahara, adding Bunny Ears and Cute Clumsy Girl traits to Chappy, in order to convince Rukia to work at Boobies.
  • Destructo-Nookie: Unohana's discussion with Kenpachi gets rather... heated.
  • Deus Sex Machina: While Ichigo is knocked unconscious and under the influence of chocolate laced with aphrodisiacs, Shirosaki takes over his body and has a fun night with a late-twenties Ikumi Unagiya, setting the groundwork for her being a single mom to Kaoru around ten years later.
  • Does This Remind You of Anything?:
    • Urahara's attempts at repairing Nemu.
    • The commercial for Taco Aizen deliberately invokes this.
  • Dramatic Thunder: Kenpachi's appearance in the comic is punctuated with a bolt of lightning.
  • Drawing Straws: How the Vizard decide who has to go get a job. Shinji cheated.
  • Empowered Badass Normal:
  • Enemy Mine: Ichigo and Aizen must travel through time in Chapter 11 to prevent events from happening in the future while sharing many close moments together, which proves complicated due to having previously fought in a war that changed the ruling class of life and death worlds as we know it.
  • Ethical Slut: Lisa tends to see erotic works, as forms of art in themselves. She even created an attack where she can channel spiritual energy to all of a persons erogenous zones at once incapacitating them.
  • Evil Knockoff: Per court order, Aizen unintentionally invokes both this tropes (as well as Beat Them at Their Own Game) by opening up Taco Aizen across the street from Boobies.
  • Exactly What I Aimed At: Senna pulls off a variant combined with Summon Bigger Fish against Samhain- her zanpakuto Mirokumaru can't meaningfully harm the former King of Hollows, but since she's not supposed to use it, it can summon Captain-General Yamamoto to the area.
  • Exact Words: When Omaeda goes to eat at Boobies, he asks his captain, Soi Fon, to have one of the servers sit with him. So she sends Yumichika to his table. Omaeda never specifically asked for a female server.
  • Face Palm: Kensei gives a small one when Mashiro clearly doesn't understand she just lost a game of Drawing Straws.
  • Fan Disservice: Omeada as a customer in a tight-fit tank top. Yumichikia in the female Boobies uniform, to some readers. For Halloween, Nel steals 1st Captain Yama's white robe, and an omake shows that he's apparently too senile to notice it's been altered for a female, which makes for an... awkward meeting when he gets it back.
  • Favors for the Sexy: A rare Female-for-Male version. Returning to school after the establishment of Boobies, Ichigo finds a large variety of...gifts, covering his desk. These include strange foods note , boxing gloves note , red roses note , BDSM-related goods note , and rabbit merchandise note .
  • Fictional Counterpart: Boobies is a clear knock-off of the popular restaurant chain Hooters, down to the female uniforms, though the colors are inverted (blue shorts and logo, instead of orange), and both titles having dual meanings of a type of bird and slang terms of female mammaries.
  • Filler: If you value your life, don't tell Senna that movies are filler.
  • Fish out of Water: The Vizards' Hollow sides are all completely alien to Karakura Town. When someone switches off the lights, they yell where the sun went. Empress Kuro nearly gets killed running across a street.
  • Flanderization: For the most part, the cast is in-character, but several act differently. Chappy says nothing but "hop!" and acts more like a cheerful child. Yumichika is a Flamboyant Gay (he wears a female Boobies uniform), and is in no way modest about it. Aizen and Urahara sometimes lose their patience and raise their voice (although in fairness to Aizen, that's mostly when dealing with the ghost of Gin only he sees and can do nothing about).
  • Foreign Exchange Student: Teen Nel, Senna, and Hiyori enroll in Ichigo's class, but of course, they're not coming from a previous school.
  • Foreshadowing: Taco Aizen can be seen being built several chapters before it actually is introduced properly.
  • Former Teen Rebel: Unohana's Kenpachi phase is explored in chapter 11.
  • Formula-Breaking Episode: The expository page for the "Hollow's Eve" origin flashback features no known characters, no familiar settings, no fanservice, Rukia's off-screen narration as its only form of dialogue, and is overall dark, creepy and humorless.
  • Funbag Airbag: Toshiro runs right into Rangiku's breasts. Twice. Leads to Marshmallow Hell below.
  • Funny Background Event:
    • Several times, such as Rukia often drawing bunnies in the background.
    • The two-page spread of the Halloween chapter has many detailed gems, such as Mizuiro putting the charm on Unohana in a sexy Mrs. Claus costume.
    • Some of the speech balloons during Hiyori's and Nel's tsundere-off are too small to read in favor of the narrative shifting focus on other characters, but Gairon said he wrote actual dialogue in those too!
  • Gender Bender: Kensei is the only Vizard to have a Hollow that isn't his gender. She's very much like Mashiro in appearance.
  • Genki Girl: Senna, Mashiro, and Kyu Roku are very energetic.
  • Grievous Harm with a Body: Yamamoto dual-wields Senna and Tatsuki against Samhain.
  • Grey-and-Gray Morality: The Halloween chapter has Nel and Rukia argue over the bureaucracy of the Soul Society, and the fact that hollows need to eat human souls to regain their humanity.
  • Gyaru Girl: Tentei is styled as one with tanned skin and dyed hair.
  • Halloween Episode: Chapter 6, which includes a story detailing a young Yamamoto's battle against the First Vasto Lorde. Which turns out to be the origin of Halloween. ... at least according to soul Society residents and Hollows.
  • Help Yourself in the Future: The main plot of Chapter 11 concerns Ichigo and Aizen going to the past to give Past Urahara a letter to prevent Boobies from shutting down.
    • Aizen attempts to tell the child version of himself in the past not to kill Gin Ichimaru. Unfortunately, the letter is ripped at the 'Don't kill' part, so Young!Aizen reads 'Do kill'.
  • Heavy Sleeper: Yoruichi often takes naps around Boobies in her cat form. Her favorite spot is inside the claw machine on the soft stuffed toys.
  • Historical Badass Upgrade: The pagan god Samhain is personified as a Hollow.
  • Imagine Spot
    • Tatsuki imagines saving Ichigo from a thug
    • Senna imagining (Not Happily) herself, Tatsuki, Orihime, Rukia, and all three versions of Nel as Ichigo's Harem. Complete with Bedlah Babe outfits.
    • Yumichika imagines Squad 11 and Squad 4 as a family.
    • Momo and Hiyori imagine themselves with bigger breasts.
    • Lisa proposing her, Hiyori and Mashiro working as hookers, with Kensei as their pimp.
    • Gin overhears Lilynette saying that her and Starrk are basically the same person...while trying to set him up with a more mature Arrancar.
  • Impossible Thief: Chizuru is capable of stealing bras while the mark is still wearing them, without disturbing the shirt, or having the mark notice until afterwards.
  • Innocent Fanservice Girl: After Chizuru steals the bras from her friends, Orihime spends the rest of that whole classroom scene with her cleavage exposed and doesn't seem to notice/care. Also counts for the other innocent females in the comic.
  • Innocent Innuendo: After Aizen tells Little!Zaraki that 'dick' means 'someone you want to kill', Zaraki told Unohana that he wanted to 'dick' her when he got stronger, much to her embarrassment.
  • Interquel: Takes place sometime after the Deicide Arc (where Aizen is finally defeated), and before the Lost Substitute Soul Reaper Arc (because the main characters have yet to meet the Fullbringers).
  • I Was Quite a Looker: Head Captain Yamamoto, who looked rather like Ukitake. See this page for a good example.
  • "Just So" Story: The time-travel antics in Chapter 11 are used as a way to explain how and why characters became who they are from the official manga.
  • Lampshade Hanging: To many, many points from the original manga.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: Fairly often, usually when hanging a lampshade on something; like Senna's revival, or Yumichika's sexuality.
  • Lethal Chef: Orihime often tries to feed people food she likes. It doesn't end well.
  • Lovable Sex Maniac: Lisa, upon meeting Nanao and not recognizing her, immediately thinks she is from a one-night stand that she's forgotten. Chizuru appears to be as well, seeing how quickly she wanted to "thank" Ichigo for letting them into Boobies.
  • Luminescent Blush: When meeting Orihime again, Ulquiorra of all people.
  • Mama Bear: Nemu does not take what Renji does with her "child" well.
  • Marshmallow Hell: Rangiku gives Orihime a heavy dose of this when Orihime joins the restaurant. Toshiro later gets trapped between her breasts and her shirt and tries to get out by twisting her nipples. She seems quite pleased with his methods.
  • Meaningful Name: HardcoreHunter didn't just give random names to the seven original Vizard Hollows. All of them are either Japanese words that mean something having to do with the character in English, or are opposites of the name of the Vizard they're from.
  • The Mind Is a Plaything of the Body: Nel's Adult form is gentle and motherly, and her Teenage form is Tsundere. Her Child form hasn't had enough screentime to tell.
  • Missing Steps Plan: Part of Urahara's business model.
  • Mistaken for Racist: When Senna, Nel and Hiyori enroll at Karakura High, Keigo makes the mistake of asking Chad if he knew where Nel was from.
Keigo: Wow! A cute foreigner! Hey Chad, do you know the area this girl is from?
Chad: Why are you asking me?
Keigo: Well you know it sounds like it's from Mexico and well umm...
Chad: Oh so you think I'd know exactly where it is...
Keigo: No I...didn't mean it like that! Just forget I said anything...
  • Mrs. Robinson: Unohana didn't seem opposed to teaching Ichigo how to pleasure a woman, but he was too naive to pick up the hint.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Nearly all the good-looking characters from the original manga, and taken up several notches.
  • Mundane Utility: Yamamoto uses his Bankai, which is capable of causing an Apocalypse How by accident, to cook food (he burns it horribly).
  • A Nazi by Any Other Name: Ichigo, in one of the omake pages, notices his mom has a familiar-looking cross in a family photo. Isshin, to keep the truth that she was a Quincy from him, tells him that his mother's family were Nazis.
  • Nipple and Dimed: A few nipples have been seen over the series. The first notable example was Yoruichi.
  • Noodle Incident:
    • The Karakura-Raizer Arc is this to Tatsuki and Keigo.
    • Yamamoto apparently once beat someone to death with dual wielded women. Or he might have been trying to pull Unohana off someone.
  • Nosebleed:
    • Lisa has a minor one when a scene gets too cute for her to handle.
    • Soifon passes out from one after seeing Yoruichi naked.
    • Chizuru gets a small one when she's introduced to Nel for the first time.
    • Then she and Keigo both have epic, simultaneous nosebleeds upon first entering Boobies.
    • A notably funny one occurs when Ikkaku first sees Yachiru's new gigai. He wipes it off quickly when her first words to him in this state are just as mocking as usual.
  • Not So Above It All: Soifon joins the other members of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee in branding Yachiru a traitor.
  • Not What It Looks Like:
    • Urahara was merely stuffing Nemu's oven. With a sandwich. He actually retrofit her body with a working oven.
    • Ichigo. Nel. Closet. Glue. That is all.
  • O.C. Stand-in: Tentei Inoue, Orihime and Sora's mother. In canon, Sora only mentions her once when flashbacking to his unhappy home life, but here she's a Gyaru Girl, an Absurdly Youthful Amazingly Embarrassing Parent, and Masaki's school friend.
  • Odd Couple: HardcoreHunter and Gairon initially turned down working together on the comic. It wasn't till months of them receiving messages every day from fans, that they had decided to collaborate on making the comic together.
  • Only Sane Man:
    • For the Soul Reapers, it's often Isane.
    • For the humans, it tends to be Tatsuki.
  • Otaku: Hate is an extremely stereotypical example, Played for Laughs, at Love's expense since Hate is his Inner Hollow.
  • Other Me Annoys Me: All the Visored with their Inner Hollows. Shinji gets sexually harrassed by Niji, Kyu Roku is Mashiro in hollow form and annoys Kensei just as much, Desdemona scolds Lisa for her perverted tendencies, Moeyori's shy and girlish nature embarrasses Hiyori, Thorn is a stoner and won't listen to Rose, Hate is a creepy Otaku who argues with Love about their respective interests, and Empress Kuro is a Card-Carrying Villain.
  • Our Ghosts Are Different: Besides the fact that most characters in Bleach are ghosts anyway, there's Gin. Who may or may not be a figment of Aizen's imagination. The Ghostly Chill he gives off that soaks anyone who passes through him would hint at the latter. Tousen is apparently also a ghost like Gin.
  • Petite Pride: The Itty Bitty Titty Committee. Doubles as a support group for A-Cup Angst.
  • Punny Name: The Visored's Inner Hollows all have a name that plays off their host's.
  • Puppy-Dog Eyes: Chappy is an expert at these, and uses them to draw with markers instead of crayons.
  • Raging Stiffie: Ichigo winds up with one after helping Nel glue her mask in the closet. Then Tatsuki winds up combining Wrestler in All of Us with Suggestive Collision...
  • Reincarnation: Yamamoto takes Senna away after she uses her powers again, but decides to be lenient and offers her the chance of reincarnation, even putting in an expedition order so that she can reincarnate relatively soon and still be with her friends. She reincarnates as Ichika Abarai, Rukia and Renji's daughter.
  • Remember the New Guy?: Hanataro has apparently been working in the restaurant for a while, but isn't seen until Ikkaku nonchalantly knocks him over.
  • The Reveal: Ichigo is the father of Ikumi's child, Kaoru thanks to Time-Travel Romance.
  • Running Gag: Tatsuki's bra straps keep falling down.
  • Sanity Slippage: Aizen has clearly suffered some. He may or may not be hallucinating the ghosts of Gin and Tousen, and he's become far more erratic and emotional than in canon.
  • Sensible Heroes, Skimpy Villains: Mashiro and Empress Kuro, her Inner Hollow. Mashiro wears a full-body suit (or normal clothes if the occasion demands), while Kuro wears a bikini and a cape with Shoulders of Doom.
  • Sex–Face Turn: Kenpachi is furious that Yachiru would go work at a sleazy restaurant and take up an older gigai body, and he's overall disgusted by the whole thing. ... until Unohana locks the door to Urahara's office to "explain everything".
  • She Is All Grown Up:
    • Yachiru, of all people, in her new gigai.
    • Karin as seen in one Omake. Yuzu laments that she didn't receive the same growth spurt.
  • Ship Tease: Multiple examples given the nature of the manga. While Ichigo being a Chick Magnet is a crux of the manga, there's a few other pairings.
    • Isane and Rangiku are frequently seen together, with the two comforting one another after the restaurant is shut down.
    • Kenpachi and Unohana have a room-destroying relationship and he is willing to bow down to her expectations.
  • Shoulder Teammate: Upon first seeing each other Kenpachi gives Starrk a thumbs up for knowing the importance of having a Shoulder Loli.
    • In Chapter 11, Zaraki as a little kid was a shoulder shota to Unohana back when she was the first Kenpachi.
  • Shout-Out:
    • The staff at the Halloween party dresses up as popular characters from various franchises, along with the usual Halloween monster.
    • Yamamoto's dramatic entrance to the battle against Samhain parodies the cliffhangers in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, complete with the To Be Continued text at the end of every issue of the manga, or end of every episode of the anime.
  • Silver Vixen: Unohana gives off this vibe as the oldest woman in the cast.
  • Slasher Smile: Kenpachi sports a terrifying one at the prospect of getting a fight out of Ichigo.
  • Sneeze Cut: Mayuri gets one after Urahara claims Nemu is working for him now.
  • So Last Season: Samhain finds out the hard way that being a Vasto Lorde Arrancar isn't very impressive in modern times.
  • Stealth Pun: The Boobies restaurant is shut down through the majority of Chapter 11.
  • Strip Poker: Two of the new Hollows, Empress Kuro and Desdemona, do this in one of the pin-ups... they're losing.
  • Suspiciously Specific Denial:
    • "What? No I named it after my favorite bird." Uh-huh. Sure ya did (and the plural of 'Boobie' as in the bird is 'Booties', anyway).
    • Also done by Orihime.
  • Tanuki: It turns out that Tatsuki's awakened zanpaktou spirit is one, displaying all the modern traits of the figure, altered into an entertaining, comedic personality.
  • Team Mom: Unohana. Yumichika not only has an Imagine Spot where she mothers his squad and Squad 4, but Kenpachi almost refers to her as Ikkaku's mother.
  • Teen Pregnancy:
    • Tentei, Orihime's mother, gave birth to her son Sora while still in high school.
    • While not stated directly, since Ikumi was also in school when she was impregnated, she would be a teen mom as well.
  • There Was a Door: Kenpachi punches through Urahara's door despite it being unlocked.
  • They Killed Kenny Again: Loly. Orihime's getting a lot of practice with her Shun Shun Rikka...
  • Time Travel: Chapter 11's main story concerns this.
  • Time-Travel Romance: Ichigo travels back in time during Chapter 11. His own mother and Orihime's mother develop crushes on him, but it's Ikumi who winds up getting deflowered by him.
  • Token Mini-Moe: Moeyori, Hiyori's Inner Hollow. Her very existence infuriates her Host.
  • Truth in Television: There actually is a Hooters in Japan, though only one, and it's only in a mall in Tokyo. And it's probably not staffed by ghosts.
  • Tsundere:
    • Tatsuki comes off as a mild type A.
    • Hiyori is a much much harsher example.
    • Nel's teenage form also comes across as this.
    • The latter two even end up starting a feedback loop between each other lasting several pages.
  • Unexplained Recovery: All over the place. Numerous characters that should be dead, such as countless Arrancar or Senna, are alive again none the worse for wear.
  • Unwanted Harem: Ichigo seems to see the girls as friends, and is oblivious towards their feelings for him.
  • Updated Re-release: Each chapter is compiled after its completion into a single PDF, usually fixing minor errors that were noticed after the initial release.
  • Wingding Eyes: Chizuru gets heart eyes at one point.
  • Yandere: Momo goes a little dark when she sees Aizen. Yuzu seems this way when she sees attractive girls around her brother Ichigo. Moeyori is also this towards Hitsugaya, caused by her inability to separate her own feelings for him from those of her 'sissy'.
  • Yaoi Fangirl: Sung-Sun enjoys watching Ulquiorra and Grimmjow wrestle with their shirts off far more than anyone else does.

"Come Back Soon!"
