The Big Dad Wolf is a Web Animation Short Film by Autumn Bell and Louis Debrat.
Holan (Avi Krtizman) is a man whose wife Margaret (Riccarda Eikenberg) is about to give birth to their baby. So now they're in the hospital for the big moment. And Holan couldn't be more on edge, and it's not just because he's gonna be a dad.
But also because he's a werewolf, and it just so happens the baby will be born on a full moon.
With that in mind, Holan needs to make sure he can make it through the night without being exposed.

The Big Dad Wolf contains examples of:
- Bit-by-Bit Transformation: The method that Holan transforms. He first notices his hands becoming paws, which prompts him to leave his wife's hospital room. Then while he manages to turn those back for a bit, he starts getting chest hair, then a wolf face and ears, complete with the paws returning, and finally his legs becoming digitigrade complete with a tail.
- Carpet of Virility: While Holan is at a water cooler, a man with a LOT of hair on his chest passes by. He gives Holan a thumbs up... about the fur on Holan's chest.
- Creative Closing Credits: While the credits play, we see Holan holding his newborn child while in a rocking chair. We also see the moon in various phases in the corner of the screen, and both Holan and his kid are werewolves when it's full.
- Involuntary Shapeshifting: With the moon being full, Holan's turning into a werewolf against his will in a place where there are witnesses. He tries drinking water to keep the wolf from coming out, but it doesn't really stick.
- Our Werewolves Are Different: Holan is the type that involuntarily transforms into an anthropomorphic wolf every full moon, but retains his sapience. Regardless, he doesn't want anyone finding out, including his wife. Though the ending implies she already knew.
- Scary Teeth: When Holan tries smiling to a baby in werewolf form after crashing into the maternity ward, he ends up showing off a huge mouth full of sharp teeth, which causes the baby to cry.
- Slapstick: When Holan decides to be with his wife at his child's birth, regardless of his lycanthropy, he opens up the door of the room he was hiding in right in the face of a female hospital worker, knocking her out.
- Wham Line: When Holan decides to reveal his lycanthropy to his wife...Holan: I'm sorry...Margaret, smiling: He looks just like you.(Cue a shot of their son, already in werepup form.)
