Tropes

  • Alien Invasion: Earth gets invaded by unknown spacecrafts to kidnap humans and build tall towers made of tetris blocks.
  • Collapsing Lair: 4 ends with the protagonist kicking one of the Giant Robot's bomb into the lair's Sphere of Power causing the whole place to explode.
  • David Versus Goliath: The series mostly revolves around a small stickfigure fighting giant robots.
  • Hidden Agenda Villain: It is never revealed why the aliens attacked Earth to cover it up with tetris blocks.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: More or less a recurring theme.
    • In 1, the robot with the extendable arms constantly weakens the tower of blocks with its blows, eventually bringing the protagonist down to its level. It's swiftly goaded into punching the tower of blocks one too many times, prompting it to fall on and break the bot while the stickman escapes.
    • In 2, the robot's attempt at fleeing once heavily damaged results in the stickfigure breaking its thruster-arm off, crashing it into the side of the station and allowing them access to the block-making machine.
    • In 3, the robot launches several massive missiles to try and kill the hero. They kick it off-course, sending it into the floating station's main systems and destroying it while the protagonist bolts for the escape craft.
    • In 4 one of the giant robots throws a bomb to kill the hero but in turn they kick it into the lair's Sphere of Power causing the whole place to explode.
  • Humongous Mecha: A giant alien robot made of tetris blocks serves as the antagonist of each episode from 1 to 3. The bots from the first two later return as guardians for the aliens' main base in 4.
  • Mickey Mousing: The action in 1 and 2 is in time with the background music, with blocks noticeably dropping to the tune. Additionally, the shift in melody signals the enemy robot dropping in and assembling itself.
  • Nameless Narrative: No one has a name due to there is no dialogue at all.
  • Silence Is Golden: There is no dialogue or even sound effects, only just a remix of the Tetris theme for background music.
  • Sweat Drop: The hero has a sweat drop appear on their head when they see the amount of Tetris blocks they have to avoid in 2.
  • Symbol Swearing: The hero says "@!#$" in a speech bubble seeing they have to avoid Tetris blocks again in 3.
  • Wall Jump: The hero often bounds off of the sides of Tetris block towers in order to escape being crushed by the upcoming falling blocks.
