The Past is a One-Episode Wonder fan animated series of Five Nights at Freddy's and a prequel to Zero2zero 2's Dares/Asks series.
Originally created on January 20, 2016, the series would only get one episode due to Zero2zero 2's working on Dare 4 and 5 of the main series. This would ultimately mean that the series went on hiatus.
In September 2021, Zero2zero 2 announced that she would be leaving YouTube to focus on Real Life, ultimately sealing the fate of the prequel series.

- Left Hanging: The first episode ends at Fredbear's Family Diner with the date being 1983.
- Origins Episode: The episode shows the animatronics as babies.
- Prequel: This series is set before the events of Five Nights at Freddy's Dares/Asks (Zero2zero 2).
- Short-Runners: The series only lasted for one episode.
