Fester Fish is a web animated series created by Aaron Long..

The series focuses on an anthromorphic fish named Fester, his human girlfriend Blottie, and the surreal cartoon world around them. The series is intentionally animated in the 1930s Inkblot Cartoon Style, while also lampshading many of its quirks.

Four full-length cartoons (plus three shorter bits) were made between 2010 to 2012. Nowadays Aaron Long works as a director on Bojack Horseman and on his current series Sublo and Tangy Mustard. You can watch the series on YouTube.

  • The Alcoholic: Fester's girlfriend, Blottie, is always drunk.
  • Dance Party Ending: The Christmas episode ended with Fester and others "bobbing rhythmically".
  • Everything Talks: Everything Fester comes across talks, including buildings, appliances, mailboxes, and even a pier.
  • Furry Confusion: The fact that Fester breathes and walks on land, while there are also fish that live underwater, is lampshaded multiple times.
  • Meet the In-Laws: The Christmas episode has Fester taking Blottie to his parent's house. It ended with the family banning her from the property.
