Among Us Zombie is a web animation made by Swit Dom.

It is based on the video game Among Us, and while there are many similarly titled animation with similar name and premise, this is by far the most well known, reaching millions of views in a span of one month, and already reaching Season 2 by the early parts of 2021.

The premise is simply "Among Us meets Zombie Apocalypse", and the Crewmates are capable of fighting back. After holding off the zombie assault in Skeld ship in Season 1, Season 2 takes them to the Polus base where there are still more zombies harassing them.

Tropes Associated with this Web Animation:

  • Adaptational Badass: Every crewmates (except Lime) are armed with a weapon and if able, could take down groups of zombies if they want to.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Brown appeared just in time from the vent to save Purple from certain death. They later do the same to the rest of the crews when everyone else was surrounded in the Storage.
  • Darkest Hour: Episode 4 ends with the surviving Crews absolutely surrounded with the zombies, with no way to save them as if one of them leapt down to strike, they would be devoured. Thankfully, Episode 5 reveals the light at the end of the tunnel in form of Brown and Purple.
  • Dirty Coward: Lime leaves Purple to a horde of zombies locked in the Electrical room, because he's too scared to death. And during the Darkest Hour, he stands on the very top of the crates, just so he'd be the last to get devoured.
  • Enemy Mine: Brown is an Impostor, but decided to hold off killing other Crewmates after being reduced to the Sole Survivor, now helping other Crewmates to survive the Zombie Apocalypse.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Season 1 ends with Yellow and Cyan staying behind to operate Skeld and send the rest of the Crews into Polus, leaving them with any remaining zombies.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: For ditching Purple to doom just to save his own hide, Lime gets booted out by the rest of the crews when Purple turned out fine. And to add insult to the injury, the escape pod or the Skeld ship afterwards rammed onto Lime's floating body, splitting him in half.
  • The Load: Lime is not given an Adaptational Badass, depending only on his fellow Crewmates to bail him out of trouble. This, combined with the Dirty Coward attitude causes him to get booted out once Purple returns.
  • Talking with Signs: There are no spoken dialogues, only super short common sentences like "Thx", "Np", but delivered with tiny speaking bubbles that it kind of matches the trope.
  • Zombie Apocalypse: It began with a previous group of Crewmates (in huge numbers) arriving in Skeld, when unfortunately one of them is a zombie. The rest of the crews ended up being infected with Brown the Impostor as the one who survived and hid in the vent for two days until a new, the current group arrive.
