Hack is a sapient computer program
- As revealed in episode 4, there is no information about Hack odd because Berry still had information on her and the same could be said for the members of the Ghost Detective Club. It could be that the reason Hack is so bothered by her past is that she started out as a computer program that was discarded. Afterward, she gained sapience. This could explain some of her weird mannerisms such as referring to things and people as "glitchy witchy" and the like.
