The story will have meta commentary
Oddly the first thing that came to this troper's head when he saw the description was commentary on the periphery demographics of the series as the 'dominated by adults' part of the talk. Hopefully it was just oddly and not actually the case...
  • Don't see how that's a bad thing. Considering that the premise of the series is essentially using a new format to challenge the current format, I think there's a high probability of this happening.
  • Original Poster: I fear a 'Take That Audience' a la something Teen Titans Go and the fans who prefer things like the original series or Young Justice.

There will also be Master Duels
Because the Duel Disk starts with five zones, then contracts to three when the Rush Duel begins. Also because the main card game is still being supported.
  • It's likely someone, akin to the people outside of the series, will question if Yuga is just making up new Duel Formats because he sucks at Master Duels. Yuga winning Master Duels will be a means of pointing out in story that no, that isn't the reason.
  • Jossed.

Yuga will turn evil at some point
The only ones who avoid it are the older and more serious protagonists, and Yuga is neither.
  • Yuma did not turn evil. It was Astral who briefly did and caused Dark Zexal.
    • Yuma still had his body hijacked by evil unlike Yusei and Yusaku (who did not, like, have Ai wear him like the Venom Symbiote). Perhaps Yuga will just get turned into a evil Goha Cyborg against his will for a few episodes or something like that.
    • Yuma and Astral were sharing a body at the time when they used ZEXAL, but Astral was the one who ended up corrupted and in control of their body, while Yuma was “locked out”, but otherwise unaffected, similar to what happened to Yugi when Atem was corrupted by the Seal of Orichalcos.
Yuga would later get a 2500 ATK Ace Monster
This is not the first time a "Yu" character has an Ace Monster with less than 2500 ATK at the start of the series: Judai's first Ace Monster, Elemental HERO Flame Wingman, has 2100 ATK.
  • As a general rule, the starter deck ace isn't the main character's main ace (Utopia and Odd-Eyes excluded).
  • Although, neither Utopia or Odd-Eyes actually were in the starter deck. Yuya did get Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon in his first on-screen duel, but it wasn't in his deck, it's the mutation of his first ace, Odd-Eyes Dragon, thanks to Zarc's power. It's fast, but Yugi too gets the Dark Magician really early. Utopia is a unique case, since Yuma uses as his ace from the very beginning, but it technically isn't in Yuma's deck, it's actually Astral's card, and in fact Yuma doesn't even have it in his final duel.

SEVENS will take many cues from other tcg shows, in particular works like Future Card Buddyfight
The show seems to be aiming for this kind of demographic & will likely be a lot safer in story & tone than the previous series. This is Studio Bridge's first run on the series & will want to take things slower before being more experimental with later works (if at all).

Romin will duel at some point
Her character bio implies she currently doesn't duel, or even doesn't really like duel, but this is a YGO series, and there has been no female secondary protagonist in a YGO anime series that never duels. Even Kotori eventually dueled once. Her character design also conspicuously includes a small bag on her waist that looks like it could be a deck case, so unlike Kotori, she might even ends up dueling more than once.
  • Maybe the reason she doesn't duel is because a sibling of hers died, said sibling used to duel, and their deck is a Tragic Keepsake.
  • The opening shows her ace monster, so it's basically confirmed that she's a duelist.
  • Confirmed! She duels as early as episode 3, actually. And she states she's getting more interested in dueling too.

Magic Versus Science will come into play in later arcs
After magic sat out all of Vrains it is due for a return and as a science enthusiast magic clashing with science would be an excellent use of the The Magic Versus Technology War trope.
  • If I might offer a guess or two to this idea one of the main cast, either Romin or Luke, will be revealed to be magical a la the Barians of Zexal reveal: Romin for being mysterious and Luke for his techbane abilities.
    • Luke's techbane ability is explained as Pauli Effect, though it still could count as sort of superpower since he can control his Effect, he's still not a magical being.
    • Only he can use the watch like that, no one else. He also may or may not dueled himself and created a new card. He's magic. Yuga meanwhile is all science, and a final duel between the two may be set to this idea.

Goha has a reason to be doing what it is doing
Past evil corps and organizations, be it Faker or Pegasus or Reiji or even S.O.L, had understandable motivations. As fun as it would be to have Goha basically being a profit driven corporation only, it would be rather off and it has a reason to want to control EVERYTHING beyond 'corporation'. Perhaps the above 'Magic versus Science' trope may be the reason...

There will be a duel with Rush Duel's existence at stake
With the Duels Decide Everything logic, it would be natural if the villains (whether Goha Corps or not) will try to destroy Rush Duel via duel.
  • Confirmed: Yuga duels Asana in episodes 38 and 39 with the stakes being that Yuga retires Rush Duelling if he loses. He wins.

Goha's boss is actually a Future Yuga
The reason that Rush Duels were so perfectly set for Hologram Man's backdoor was because it was created by future Yuga. This is why he is so amused by Yuga as of episode 2. It's some sort of giant gambit to go against something worse than Goha.

The Backdoor and Hologram Man's creator will be plot significant
It seems rather odd that the Hologram Man has to be defeated by using a new format, doesn't it? Seems like it was intentionally made so that users could install new formats behind Goha's back.
  • Not only that, but Goha can't uninstall it; they can't even find the data for it in their system. It's like the Hologram Man installed it at a level higher than Goha has access to.

Later seasons will make it a Cosmic Horror Story, and the cast will start dying
Just like GX, Zexal and Arc V. That's how it goes if it starts with a younger protagonist who wants to have fun. On the same vein, the last season will be about Yuga trying to once again have fun while dueling.

When this show gets dubbed, it'll be a Late Export for You situation.
  • Due to the fact that the show hasn't yet been streamed outside of Japan.

When this show gets dubbed, some characters will undergo a Dub Name Change.
  • As is tradition for Yu-Gi-Oh!.
  • Some predictions include:
    • Yuga stays the same
      • Confirmed.
    • Rook/Luke would stay the same due to being a nickname but his real name would change to Travis
      • Jossed. Luke is retained, but his full name in the dub is Lucidien Kallister.
    • Gakuto becomes either Gary or Gray
      • Jossed. Gakuto becomes Gavin.
    • Romin becomes Roza or Robyn
      • Jossed.
    • Ranze and Rinnosuke become some kind of famous fictional/historical twins or alternate versions of the same name.
      • Confirmed. Ranze becomes Rayne, Rinnosuke is shortened to Rino.
    • Bakuro will become Barry or Brian.
    • Kaizo stays the same
      • Confirmed.
    • Roa might become Roman or Ron.
      • Jossed.
    • Ushiro Omaeno becomes Luke B. Heindew
      • Jossed. Ushiro becomes Toombs.
    • Rook/Luke stays the same, but his first name changed into Tyson or any dragon theme name.
      • Jossed. Luke is retained, but his full name in the dub is Lucidien Kallister.
    • Romin and Roa stay the same, but their surname changed into Mistland.
      • Partially confirmed. Romin and Roa retain their first names. Their surname is changed to Kassidy.
    • Neiru becomes Neil (pronounce as NEEL).
      • Jossed. His name is Nail (which is what most people were using anyway)
    • Schrödinger Nekoyama becomes Cheshire Schrödinger.
    • Yuuka becomes Yuura because One-Steve Limit.
    • Gakuto becomes Grant
      • Jossed.

Mimi will have her backstory changed
I cannot imagine 'thirty-something woman who looks like an elementary student and has a kid Yuga's age' would fly past a dubbing company for our favorite card game anime. She's probably going to get something like 'I altered myself with Goha resources to look like an elementary student' to make it less squicky to think about.

  • Unlikely since they've made an episode where her son was the opponent of the week. It's gonna be hard to cut that out...
    • Pretty easy really. She can just comment that 'Goha's resources haven't made her look like an adult woman again' and it is solved.
    • They could adapt it to make Mimi's son her brother instead, and make her slightly older than Yuga and the rest but not at the same scale (maybe 18-20). The reason she worked so hard to scale goha ranks being wanting to provide for her brother, being both orphans or something on the lines.
    • Her son is one year younger than Yuga & Co. They could make her the same age as them and it would still work. Alternately, Goha has access to age reversal technology, and she accidentally used it too much due to her vanity.
    • They could also make Yoshio being Happily Adopted, this way would solve a problem as long as Mimi's husband doesn't appear in anime.
    • Jossed. She's his mother in Dawn of the Battle Royal.

Goha Corp will eventually just ask Yuga how he installed Rush Duels.
Because so far the series seems to often subvert the usual Yugioh tropes.

Constellation motifs?
Pretty short but the etchings on the floor in the episode 9 reveal, I glimpsed a swan and a fish so I'm thinking constellation motifs might come up since one thing a swan and a fish have in common is being constellations.

Otes is Mister Goha
What better place to be able to sneak in a change to the system AND have authority to keep the duel going than by taking up the position yourself?

SEVENS will become an Affectionate Parody of the entire franchise
SEVENS is not only Lighter and Softer, but also Denser and Wackier (so far) due to some characters being parodies of specific character archetypes commonly found in the franchise.

One or both of Yuga's parents will eventually be revealed to be a high-ranking Goha corporation employee.

Yuga is already well aware of Mimi's true identity even before The Reveal
He may not aware of her true identity at the very start, but it's not too hard for him to deduce that fact, since he knew that Romin's a spy beforehand too. And with his Obfuscating Stupidity trope, he might keep quiet instead of telling his friends.
  • Confirmed. He and the others had their suspicions once Mimi tried dueling them in Episode 20. Well, him and the others except Luke.

Yuga will eventually get a DIVINE-attribute monster
After all, that would be the only way to maximize Sevens Road Magician's effect. Plus, with the whole "seven" theme, it would be weird for Yuga to only have six attributes in his deck for the whole series.

Yuga will be unable to convince a character that Rush Duels are fun
Due to Yuga's goal being making dueling enjoyable, there will be a character who doesn't like Rush Duels even after playing them something like with Yuya's duel against Kachidoki in Arc-V. A possible scenario is that the character will be someone from a similar age to Yuga who instead likes Master Duels more and gives legitimate points of criticism towards Rush Duels. This also might force Yuga to think about ways to make Rush Duels more interesting, only to realize that it will end up going into the same direction as the Master Duel format.

Otes created the several obstacles for Yuga to face
He already chose Yuga as the one to change the world and decided to give him several tests to see if he is truly worthy or alternatively make him strong enough for his goals.

Maximum Summon is a mechanic Yuga created, but tried to erase
When creating Rush Duels, he possibly thought of implementing various other mechanics to make it more interesting, but ended up deleting them to prevent the game from becoming too convoluted or complicated like with Master Duels. However the code wasn't fully deleted and still lingers in its programming, allowing the mechanics to persevere similar to how Dummied Out content is found in video games.
  • Close. Yuga intentionally left room in the Rush Duel code with the intention of adding more rules later. But Maximum Summoning is Nail's idea, and Yuga is annoyed that he got to it first.

Mimi will duel against Galient
Adult who looks like a child VS child who acts like an adult would be an interesting duel.
  • Considering that Mimi is being controlled by the President Drone, that idea is FUBAR’d for the foreseeable future.

Ranze and Yuga will eventually start dating
The idea is just too cute to pass on.

When Yuga participates in a master duel, he will use either an Orphegel deck or a Drytron deck.
To promote either a new archetype(Drytron) or support for an old one(Orphegel). Bonus points if his opponent uses an Ursarctic deck.

The Master Duel problem will be addressed in story

It is implied that the reason that master duels were seen as boring is because the decks are lacking means of quick response and turn arounds. If someone can fix that, either by introducing some Pot of Greed or Monster Reborns or changing the cards they are using to be faster paced like they are Yuya creating a summoning mechanic, the Rush Duels will no longer be necessary.

  • Of course, this does mean that Yuga still wins in the end, as Master Duels become more fun for children and will no longer be the strict, slow relics they were.

Noodle and Finger are Artificial Lifeforms created somewhere

Both Nail and the Heavy Calvary Club bought their own quirky female minion from, probably from Goha, and each of them come with their own bizarre programming quirks.

The reason why Luke insists on saying "If you tell me to stop, it's too late!" twice in the Dragears summoning chant because Tiger, his sister, insists on saying it once in the Ensemble Fighter summoning chant.

Luke has sibiling rivalry issues so it makes sense that he'd do this just to rebel against her.

Tiger and Luke aren't human
Though they probably don't know that. Expect a parody of the Kastle twins and their Barian heritage when it comes up. Luke may briefly consider Transhuman Treachery before someone smacks him in the head.

Yuga will turn evil over being unable to beat Luke
  • He isn’t that upset at the loss. It’s more likely he’ll just be depressed over the fact that his participation basically amounted to nothing in the grand scheme of things.
  • It’s pretty clear that Yuga was upset that he had lost. While he wasn’t as passionate about it as Luke was, Yuga did express interest in becoming the King of Duels and dueling Luke for the title. And it’s not like his participation amounted to nothing either. Not only would that be out of character for Yuga to think l like that, but he actually benefitted from participating. He was able to team up with Roa and Nail, gained a new Maximum monster from them and Asana, and prevented Rush Duels from being uninstalled.
    • He would have saved Rush Duels regardless of whether or not he actually participated, as it wasn’t the duel itself that reinstalled the robot, but a program separate from the duel designed to remake the robot from satellite parts. Moreover, the only reason he was even participating in the tournament in the first place is because Otes told him to. Even when there was a vacant spot in the Heavy Cavalry team, he was still hesitant. And Vast Vulcan isn’t any bit better than Magnum Over Road in the long run, as Magnum is more capable of a comeback. Roa also could have teamed up with literally anyone else and gotten the same development, as it was the fight with Romin and the encouragement from his band that caused him to become a better person. Nail didn’t have any development that necessitated the tournament to accomplish. And it’s not like Luke got any character development at all. Yuga's involvement in the tournament didn’t accomplish anything that wouldn’t have happened without it, not even making Hunt learn his lesson!
    • Had Yuga not participated in the tournament, he likely wouldn’t have known about the attempt to uninstall Rush Duels or wouldn’t have been able to react as fast as he had to save it. Had he not dueled Hunt, he wouldn’t have learned about Goha 66’s scheme to take over the main server, and because his team encountered Braun’s team during the tournament, he was able to get their help in locating the server and the Rush Duel Robot on the moon. And while he was hesitant to compete, that had more to do with him being indecisive rather having no interest at all, but thanks to Otes’ motivating Yuga, he had decided to compete after all. Vast Vulcan is still a good card since it can negate destruction from trap cards, decrease a monster’s ATK twice, and deal damage equal how much ATK was decreased from one of the effects. Had Roa tried teaming up with anyone else, it’s likely he wouldn’t have gotten his duel with Romin unless they encountered each other, and it’s unlikely his band mates would’ve been around for that, meaning he wouldn’t have gotten the same development. Nail and Luke did receive some subtle development, but regardless on whether or not he did, Nail joining the tournament meant his account was reinstated and he grew closer to Yuga. So in short, Yuga's involvement in the tournament accomplished quite a bit.
      • He would have been watching the tournament for the sole reason that his friends were participating, meaning he would have found out about the Rush Duel Uninstall program at the same time that literally everyone else in the stadium did. If someone else he knew dueled Hunt, he would have been contacted about the Goha 66 deals anyways. As for Braun, Luke already encountered him on Maximum Mountain, meaning that he logically would have been introduced to Braun by Luke before the tournament. While Vast Vulcan can do some small damage to the opponent, it still isn’t the potent turnaround that Magnum Over Road is, and actually cost him the duel with Yuo in the next arc due to being warrior-type! Roa could have still teamed up with Nail at the behest of Mimi and then teamed up with a particularly skilled fan. Speaking of Nail, the reinstatement of the account was only meant to last to the end of the tournament and he still remains impartial during the next arc, and any change Luke went through wasn’t even noticeable. And Yuga outright said that he didn’t have any reason to join the tournament until Otes told him to. The arc would have played out the same way if Yuga had just played Mission Control, which probably would have been a nice change of pace.
      • But because Yuga participated in the tournament, he was able to suspect if something like that would happen and be better prepared for it than had he not participated. There’s also no guarantee that anyone he knew would’ve dueled Hunt since he came to challenge Yuga specifically. There “logically” wouldn’t be any reason for Luke to introduce Yuga to Braun, let alone right before the tournament. He may have mentioned him, but when his team showed up during their duel, Luke was clearly surprised that they knew each other, with Yuga even stating that they had met during the tournament. Vast Vulcan has more versatility than Magnum Over Road, being able to inflict burn damage and decreasing a monster’s ATK, including its own, which allowed Yuga to bypass Yuo’s trap card that prevented it from attacking. Also, Vast Vulcan bring a Warrior-type doesn’t make it any worse than Magnum Over Road. The only reason Roa and Nail formed a team was because Yuga invited them. Otherwise, they’d have no reason to team up with each other nor would Mimi specifically ask them to. And teaming up with a “particularly skilled fan” wouldn’t have been likely either because A, most of the named characters were already competing while the rest had no relation to him, and B, as Romin said during their duel, Roa wanted to compete with his bandmates, meaning he likely wouldn’t have tried teaming up with anyone else other than Yuga. There was never anything stated about Nail’s account only being reinstated for the tournament and since he’s a Goha employee, he doesn’t much of a say in providing the siblings arenas to duel in. In spite of that, the fact that he agreed to join Yuga’s team and helped him save Rush Duels shows that outside of his duties, Nail is on Yuga’s side. Like I said before, Luke had gone through a little development, but just because it’s subtle that doesn’t mean it’s not noticeable. And Yuga not competing was because he wasn’t sure, but the reason he decided to compete wasn’t simply because Otes “told him to”, but because Otes encouraged and motivated Yuga, he chose to compete so that he could understand the true purpose of the tournament.
      • He would have suspected something foul anyways, similar to how he suspected Romin to be working for Roa in the first arc despite not interacting with Roa before that arc. Hunt only challenged Yuga because he was in the tournament; otherwise, he would have challenged someone with a similar caliber of skill like Roa. In fact, he was one of the people that had a piece of Vast Vulcan, so he could have received the other pieces from Nail and Asana for the duel instead of Yuga. Speaking of Vulcan, Damage doesn’t matter much if it can’t kill your opponent, and effect damage could be reflected or inverted by some Rush Duel equivalent of Barrel Behind the Door or Rainbow Life. And the wiki mentions that the reinstatement of Nails account was specifically for the tournament. If it were beyond the tournament, the Goha Siblings could have just dueled him as a part of Yugas group and told him to lose as an employee. And being “on someone’s side” doesn’t do much if they aren’t of any help, disregarding the fact that Nail was already on Yugas side after the Maximum arc. And there is a difference between subtle development and development that doesn’t even have an effect on a person’s actions, which is what Luke experienced. And Yuga outright said that he was sitting this one out because of a lack of reason. And Yuga didn’t even need to join the tournament to know its purpose; he just had to ask Otes what the reason was after the duel. And Rush Duel haven’t really been revitalized as a result of his involvement, either.
      • Yuga didn’t know that Romin was working for Roa specifically, only that she was spying on him. Had Yuga not dueled Hunt, he likely wouldn’t have known about what was going behind the scenes until later on, which would’ve been too late. Hunt challenged Yuga to prove his superiority by defeating him with a Maximum monster. He’d have no reason to challenge Roa since A, they’ve never interacted before, and B, outside of Yuga, he wouldn’t have competed without his band mates. He’d also would have no reason to use a Maximum monster, let alone one that wouldn’t fit with his play style, nor would he receive the other two because again, he’s never interacted with Nail or Asana. There’s more than one way to win duel and burn damage is likely more effective, especially with how much Vast Vulcan deals coupled with its ATK. The wiki isn’t all that creditable and it was never stated if Nail’s account was only unlocked for the tournament. The siblings have no reason to duel Nail unless he tries to oppose them or they they he’s too dangerous. And given his and the siblings personalities, there’d be no point or reason into telling Nail to lose to either of them just to get an easy win. Likewise, there’s no reason as of now for Nail to explicitly help Yuga because it’s not his fight and he’s just following orders unless he’d have a personal reason to get involved or if Yuga asked him for help. It requires a rewatch, but Luke does go through some development, but that doesn’t mean it has to heavily impact his actions. Not having a reason meant Yuga was unsure about entering, especially since he’s not a big fan of having the spotlight on him. He couldn’t simply ask Otes because there’d be no point for the tournament if Otes simply told him, especially since he’s been acting as a sort of mentor for Yuga. That’s like a teacher telling a student how to answer certain questions instead of guiding them as to how to solve it themselves, otherwise they won’t be able to learn from it. Because of Yuga’s involvement in the tournament, he was able to strengthen the program for Rush Duels so that it couldn’t be uninstalled as easily as it was, best shown when the siblings tried uninstalling it at the start of the arc.
      • On a side note, this argument is, to put it bluntly, pointless. I don’t mean to sound rude here, but most of you’re arguments seem to be just complaints you have for the arc and how you think the it should’ve played out. You’re making up scenarios that wouldn’t happen and are ignoring the characters personalities and the plot to try and justify those scenarios. This page is for speculating and theorizing about what might or might not happen in the series, not to complain about a specific arc and how it should’ve been done. That’s what the forums are for.

Luke will take the Yu from Yuga's name for himself
As someone with far more protagonist traits and goals, Luke will (seriously or not) claim the Yu from Yuga and become Yuuke! Or Yuluke.

Otes will eventually get serious and show his real deck
  • Despite him being the one creating Sevens Road Magician to move the game ahead and impressing Yuga (and Roa) with his playstyle in a tournament, he is only shown using decks revolving around Nostalgia Fuel normal monsters. His duels so far have always been meant as a test of sort, even the last one against Yuga (then Gulu) for the truth. It all seems to imply he has yet to get serious, but as the series progresses and his goal becomes clear, he eventually will. His deck will also revolve around Sevens Road, because he created it and a mirror match against Yuga would frankly just be awesome.
  • Confirmed in Episode 90 as he used his own Sevens Road Magician and Witch against Yuga.

Yuga is a long lost Goha Sibling
  • All of the ones with shown names have Yu in it, just like Yuga. Therefore he is GOHA.
    • Yuo knows it, but didn't tell the others. It will probably used in a ploy to try to tweak the score and shift Yuga's victories to the sibling's side. True to form, however, Yuga will figure it out beforehand (if shortly) and, having faced a similar issue with Nail's test, figure a counterstrategy.
    • Unlike with the other main characters, there have been no mentions of Yuga's family so far (Luke has Haruka and their great-grandfather, Roa and Romin have each other, Gakuto has his ancestor Gakugen, Neiru has his parents, and Asana has her grandfather). It is entirely possible that Yuga decided to forsake his president seat and hide his identity to live a more normal life.
      • Episode 76 reveals Yuga's mother, so this no longer holds up.
      • Yuga is able to obtain an almost limitless supply of materials to make his Roads, yet he doesn't seem to have a job. Where does he get the money from? He also told Mimi that he didn't need the 30,000 yen she was offering him, although it might be because he was being modest. OR he really didn't need it, due to secretly having a share of Goha's wealth.
      • Yuga could have changed his name. "Yuga Ohdo" can be rearranged to spell "Yudo Goha". He could have chosen "Ohdo" as a last name due to it meaning "Royal Road", and him receiving Sevens Road Magician from Otes.
      • There is also a fun bit of irony there. Yuga hates the rigidity of Goha, yet what can cause a group to enforce harsh rules? Tragedy. Like, perhaps, the loss of a child. If Yuga ran away, was lost, etc, that incident could easily have caused Goha to go as draconian as it did. Meaning that Yuga created Rush Duels to fix a problem he may have caused himself. He created a problem and then sold the solution. How very big business...
    • Yuga also was strongly associated with Dark-types in his final duel of the Goha Sibling arc, and Dark would be the type that the sixth sibling would specialize in.
    • Mimi comes to suspect Yuga's status of this after the Goha sibings arc.
  • Jossed. Episode 76 reveals Yuga's mother, and both she and Yuga tell Luke that Yuga is not the sixth sibling. However, the sixth Goha Sibling is named Yuga as well.

Yuga's last duel
  • With one exception, previous seasons ended with the main character dueling either their partner or their rival (with Zexal doing both closing the first season with a duel with Kaito and the second with Astral). Sevens likes to homage and tweak classic tropes at the same time, so it will tease a closing duel with Luke... and then end with Yuga dueling Kaizo.
  • Alternatively, it could end similarly to GX with Yuga dueling Yugi.
  • Another alternative could be Yuga dueling whoever will be the final villain of SEVENS.

Characters from either Duel Monsters or GX will appear towards the final episodes
  • While this assumption is a longshot, it would be fun to see some sense of continuity.

Guruguru is the long lost sibling
With Luke clearly delusional and Otes being kind of old, if it isn't Yuga it would probably be lizard boy. He's associated with dark monsters via 'Wiz' and the Dark Magician deck he borrowed, he's probably younger than Yuo and thus fits into the family line somewhere, he was introduced for the arc, and if he's the only president sibling left after all this he'd be able to give Mimi her main job back because she was nice to him.
  • Seemingly jossed by Episode 67, where the theory is brought up by Mimi, but the 6th's president's badge just produces an error when given to Swirly.
  • Confirmed by the events of Episode 77.

Methods for making Maximum and Fusion cards more widespread will be implemented
Because 'rare blank cards' and 'meteors' are not exactly fairly distributed.
  • Confirmed. Practically everyone has Fusion from the Goha Employee arc forward

There will be at least two other girls identical to Sorako, Chikako, Kakoko, and Umiko, and they will have themes based on Light and Wind.
So far, the four mysteriously identical dubiously-human girls who have showed up have had themes corresponding to Attributes: DARK for Noodle Sorako (the void of space), FIRE for Finger Chikako (the molten lava inside the earth), EARTH for Sweets Kakoko (ancient stone statues), and WATER for Flash Umiko (fish and the ocean); each girl has also had a Deck that prominently used monsters of that Attribute. Given the series' emphasis on 6 and 7, it's likely that girls associated with LIGHT (possibly some kind of angel?) and WIND (probably some kind of bird-girl; bonus points if she uses a retooled Harpies archetype) will show up at some point, as well as possibly a final girl based on the DIVINE Attribute.
  • Alternatively, LIGHT girl could be time traveler from future (with speed of light theme).
  • Confirmed. There are two other -ko Girls that are based off of a ghost driver and an Optimus Prime like mech. Sorako could be LIGHT instead of DARK while the Ghost Driver could be DARK, but it's hard to classify the Giant Robot to be WIND.
    • Or, ghost driver is WIND girl, and giant robot is LIGHT.

Tiger in episode 76 isn't brainwashed
The main reason she turns against Yuuga is she knows some crucial information about Guruguru but can't tell him directly, so she uses a duel (and violence) as a warning. The reason she isn't angry with Luke like always is that she is in a deadly serious mood.
  • Seemingly confirmed.

Fusion Summoning will be the last summoning mechanic introduced in Sevens.
It's unlikely that Sevens will introduced other mechanics like Synchro and Xyz Summoning.

Nanaho is Good All Along
Bonus point if her ancestors also secretly support the main-branch Nanahoshi clan.

Otes faked his memory erasure
After losing to Yuga Goha in Episode 81, Otes did not lose his memories and will claim that his helmet protected him or that a hologram was used in the duel.
  • Jossed. His memory loss is real and causing huge problems for Goha.
  • Confirmed. He revealed to have faked it in Episode 88 after he kidnaps Yuga Goha.

Doll has secretly been working for Otes this whole time
He’s been using Doll to keep track of Yuga and the other’s progress.

In finale, Yuga Ohdo will pilot Super Rush Robot while dueling
Since this anime's biggest charm is an absurdness, there's possibility of card game on giant robot.
  • Confirmed in Episodes 90-92.
