• Madison isn't as stupid as she seems. Though she's had some scatterbrained moments such as not at first understanding Yael's plan to get them both ahead and not realizing Beth-Ann wasn't even locked in the bathroom, it is pretty obvious-at least as of "Espionage" that she's more than just determination and unbridled energy. Her devious streak runs pretty deep, and she learns almost TOO quickly. Perhaps she was Obfuscating Stupidity all along, and all her dumbest moments were actually staged so nobody will expect her to pull off some major manipulation-or when she does it'll be tossed aside as luck so she can continue to rise among the ranks while going relatively unnoticed for a while.
• Jossed, probably, considering that in the later seasons Madison's intelligence level seemed to fluctuate based on whatever the plot calls for.
