Seems highly unrealistic that the other girls would so shallow that they would immediately hate her and ostracize her throughout her entire school life ''just'' because she did something that every kid has done at one point, especially considering that they were sympathetic when Shay Van Buren had to get her hair cut off from lice or didn't care about Deandra's poop obsession or even more disgusting backstory, nor does it even make sense why Rachel decided to develop a nerd persona or why nobody else at school wanted to be friends with her besides Judith. My guess is that she has always been an "annoying nerd" who could never get anyone to like her, the popular girls had always hated her, and the roly-poly thing were just Brittnay and [=MacKenzie=]'s way of getting her to leave them alone. That would also explain why Rachel is so obsessed with wanting popularity and to be friends with them, and why she can't just switch schools or find another group to hang out with that's more worth her time.

* My thought has always been that her last name was "Thenewgirl", (pronounced as it's spelled, 'the new girl'). When announced as a contender for Prom Queen, she's called "Deandra The New Girl", Belinda first greets her onscreen as "New girl" (could be a shortening of her last name if she didn't want to say the whole thing and wasn't on a first name basis with her yet).

Carlo himself has stated that Mackenzie is half-Asian.

* It's also noteworthy that while Mackenzie and her mother are Asian, Katelynn doesn't look like she is at all. If her father is Jack, who's white, it'd make sense that her ethnicity would be less obvious, since she'd be half-white, half-Asian.

[[WMG:Kaitlyn is actually Mackenzie's half-sister.]]
An offhand comment reveals that Mrs. Zales' husband, Jack, is actually Mackenzie's stepdad. Mackenzie's never mentioned her biological father, and there's nothing that implies the marriage was particularly recent. (If it was, that would indicate that Mrs. Zales moved on ''pretty quick'', since Kaitlyn's still quite young. Of course, anything's possible, so who knows?) So, it's possible that Jack is Kaitlyn's biological father, and the two girls share a mother.

[[WMG:Cameron's father died or left when she was quite young.]]
In season one, she talks to Mikayla and says something along the lines of, "Dad said that...", with nothing to indicate that Mikayla's father isn't hers as well (ie, "''Your'' dad said that..."). However, season five reveals that Cameron and Shay have different fathers, which almost certainly means Cameron and Mikayla's fathers are different as well. My theory is that Cameron's dad either died or walked out when she was so young, that she considers Shay and Mikayla's father to be her father, too.

Well, just think about it. Saison wanted to be Brittnay's best friend from the beginning but that didn’t work out, so she stole her boyfriend and had a child named after Brittany; she keeps trying to get close to her no matter what.

[[WMG: There will be {{Take That}}s to ''Franchise/{{Bratz}}'' dolls.]]
Considering how a Jade Bratz doll that was meant to portray Saison was rejected from the set because Mark and Carlo thought that it looked too dumb and crazy when Bratz and ''Franchise/{{Barbie}}'' dolls were placed together, it would be doubly ironic, hilarious, and way too easy for Barbies to make jokes at the expense of their rivals.

Or at some point in their infancy. Brittnay looks a lot like a Van Buren, while Shay's hair is a darker shade of blonde that seems to be atypical of a Van Buren. Shay seems to have a lower alcohol tolerance as well. Maybe Brittnay's family lived in Overland Park and then returned a few years later. S
