Parallel Nightmare never existed, and was a moniker that the regular Nightmare used
It had taken a long time for the character to return, finally reappearing in Super Kirby Clash - but why use a parallel version of the character instead of just bringing the original back? This could lead one to believe that Nightmare saw the parallel counterparts crossing over, and had decided to blend into the dimension by throwing on some new duds, changing his name and then conquering the alternate world, under the pretense that he had always been in there to try and cover his tracks from Kirby.

After all - nightmares never truly die.

  • If that's the case, then what about the other parallel entities from not just this game, but across the series? Parallel Landia, Parallel Susie, Pres. Parallel Susie, Parallel Woods, Parallel Kracko, Parallel Meta Knight and Parallel Dedede all seem to come from Another Dimension, if their Japanese names (which all start with Another instead of Parallel) are of any indication. And in the case of the latter four parallel bosses, they actually do come from Another Dimension. That means that Parallel Nightmare might actually be a version of Nightmare from Another Dimension and decided to wreak havoc in Kirby's home dimension from out of the blue.
