Well, High Evolutionary's comment on Sam Alexander as Half-Human Hybrid and Titus' "these humans" implied that Jesse Alexander may not be a human after all. This is further proven by Sam (and Kaelynn)'s ability to use his helmet that maybe either locked by his DNA or sliver of Novaforce inherited from possibly Xandarian father. It may also explained his drinking problem since he may heard the news of his planet's (multiple) demise and regretted his decision to abandon in time of her need. Not to mention his inability to cope his new life as a civilian. The Black Novas have ties to Garthaan Saul.
