Jawbreaker 1 & 2
Lightning wasn’t the only one visited by the Lovecraftian demon Thomas the Tank Engine. While it is not stated how old Thomas is, it can be best assumed that he may as well be old as time, or even preexisting our universe. He is ancient enough to have at least seen the furthest star and gone to the farthest parts of the Earth. It is my belief that what we see as Thomas now is actually just the guise of some grander scale cosmic horror who rebelled against God for reasons unknown. Perhaps in a pursuit of knowledge. Whatever the case, Thomas had grown to have massive, grandiose powers greater than perhaps God himself. Through Thomas, his influence seeped into different universes and corrupted them. This is why the animation is the way it is.

But what made Thomas dreaded is that, much like with McQueen, he can grant wishes, but it is at the cost of that person’s soul. From McQueen, it seemed like his deal fell through because he did not accept it. But as for who I think took Thomas’s offer?

Eddy. From Jawbreaker 2, Eddy explained that his reason for ripping out the jaws of the Cul-de-sac kids had to do with how he and his friends were ostracized by the kids of Peach Creek. Unlike in the series finale, this Eddy existed in a parallel universe where he and Edd and Ed were never accepted. This drove Eddy to madness perhaps even making his scams even more sporadic the further he became unhinged. Soon, it was enough for Eddy, and he left Peach Creek to embark on a long journey to figure out what to do about the rejection.

He walked so far, he came to a seemingly abandoned railroad track, but he was met by the insidious steam engine. He offered him his services in return for his soul plus an additional fee. With the rejection being too strong, Eddy would of course accept the deal with little question. His eyes were opened and he was blinded by the beautiful truth that Thomas provided: retribution.

The deal was struck: Eddy became Thomas’s servant and mouthpiece spieling his message of “perfection” and instilled within Eddy the idea to create a jawbreaker out of the flesh and lower jaws of his victims. Human sacrifices would be paid to Thomas while in return, Thomas would give Eddy the recognition and acceptance he desperately wanted.

“FOR THE SUN” depicts what happens behind the scenes of The Teletubbies

  • The video depicts what the Teletubbies must do every morning. To the young kids watching, the Teletubbies emerge from the ground and wake up with the sun. In reality, the Teletubbies live in a massive drove underground, naked and borderline feral. The colorful looks of the original Teletubbies are merely suits to cover their emaciated, grey bodies. They must sacrifice one of their own, and the most desperate and hungry of them go up to the surface. In this respect, the sun may be neutral to the sacrifices, and unaware that its brightness causes them such harm. Essentially, every time they go to the surface, the experience is incredibly painful. The stacks of seemingly dead Teletubbies in the hole imply that once they get back down at the end of the day, they don’t live very long, so the "four" Teletubbies we see in the show are actually never the same group every episode.
