Ash will get a Chimchar and a Shinx in Sinnoh.
Because it would be hilarious to see Guy!Torkoal and Kakashi!Grovyle mentor a Lee!Chimchar and a Sasuke!Shinx. Heck, Luxray is the Gleam Eyes Pokemon, so it would make sense to teach him a lot of eye-based moves.- Jossed on the Chimchar - Lee is a Turtwig instead, which does make sense, given they're both turtles.
- Jossed (possibly temporarily) on the Shinx as well - Grovyle wins an egg that hatches into Brock's absurdly strong Happiny from the anime. Pink, healer, absurdly strong - that's Sakura, not Sasuke. He might get more students, though.
Ash will get one part of the Creation Trio.
So far, he's gotten a baby Lugia and a baby Rayquaza for box legendaries. It's possible that Arceus will do what he did in Platinum and make a new Creation Trio, giving either Dialga or Palkia to Ash. Alternatively, if he's going to get a box legendary from every region, Giratina may end up actually joining his party... but since Rule of Funny is in effect, it'd be hilarious to watch Giovanni react to Ash having been given a legendary by Arceus Himself.- Jossed (at least so far) - Ash gets a shiny Arceus instead.
Ash is going to drive Tobias spare.
Because Tobias the trainer infamous for entering the Pokemon League with a Darkrai and a Latios and Ash is Ash.- Alternatively, Tobias is going to turn out to be just like Ash and Brandon, and will not see what's odd about having legendaries - but will be in awe at facing Ash's Pidgey.
- Pretty close. Tobias and Ash get along very well.
Whitney will join Ash in Sinnoh and get a Delibird there.
Sinnoh called the coldest region, and you can find Delibirds there. More importantly to Whitney getting one, Delibird is based on Santa Claus, and pokemon with a Jolly nature can level up their Cuteness much easier than normal!- Confirmed for the Sinnoh part.

Aten will learn King's Guard.
Aten has yet to learn an absurdly broken fighting gimmick. Since Aten is an ancient king, the name fits, as does the way that it makes him "untouchable", since his inspiration, Akhenaten, believed himself to be an immortal god-king. The only way he'd be harmed would be though his only weakness, the Dark type, or through Scrappy or Mold Breaker.- Nevermind, it's called Wonder Guard - King's Guard isn't something that exists, the closest is King's Shield.
Grovyle and Torkoal will get more students.
While Torkoal has Turtwig as a student and Grovyle has Happiny, they don't have expies of their full teams. Torkoal will get Tenten as a Buneary and Neji as a Riolu. Grovyle will get Sasuke as Shinx and Naruto as... Gible, maybe? Ash and Co. will visit Ramanas Park.
The Ramanas flowers are said to attract powerful people and pokemon, it's filled to the brim with legendaries, it's recent news, and it's based in Sinnoh, where Ash and Co. are right now. It seems almost impossible for him to not visit.- Sadly, they don't. At least, not before Ash goes to Unova, that is.
