General

Naare will make a heelface turn around the end of the kyber blade arc.
  • That is, if she isn't defeated before then. Naare does seem to care about Rowan, though she may be just manipulating him to find the kyber blade shards.
  • Jossed. Naare is defeated without any redemption.
The Freemakers are distant decedents of Baird Kantoo.
  • It would explain why Rowan can sense the Kyber Saber Crystals... though not why his siblings aren't Force-Sensitive themselves.
    • Well, Naare's attempt to use the Jedi mind trick to make Kordi agree to let her train Rowan failed for a reason.
    • You do know that mind tricks like that only work on the weak minded right? Regardless of linage or heritage.
Rowan Freemaker is Rey's father.
  • They have a lot of similarities. Both are scavengers, both have a natural Force aptitude they are able to tap with a minimum of formal training, and both have felt a call from a significant Jedi weapon. And both their names start with the letter R. From an out-of-universe perspective, this could be a ploy by Lucasfilm to introduce us to Rey's family without the fanbase immediately figuring it out by doing so in a Loose Canon work. The alternatives are either too obvious (Luke Skywalker) or just don't make a ton of sense (Han and Leia, Obi-Wan, etc).
    • Jossed, unless the Freemakers got VERY callous in later years. Rey's parents sold her for money.
      • Extra Jossed. The Freemakers have no blood ties to Palpatine.
Rowan will become Luke's second-in-command at the Jedi academy.
The rough storyline of this is in fact canon
  • There really was a kyber saber created and smashed many years ago, the emperor really did try retrieve that superweapon during the galactic civil war and sent agent Naare on that mission (with her likely having been only an inquisitor rather than a full blown Sith) and the Freemaker family really did stop them. However, as the story's being retold by a young child it's all been made more silly and over the top both because they find it "cooler" that way and how they may not have even been told the more serious nitty gritty parts of it due to their young age.
    • One simpler explanation could be that after recovering the Saber, Naare's ship got damaged and for whatever reason she went to the Freemaker shop to get it fixed. Rowan found the saber while fixing her ship, stole it, the family destroyed it, and had to go on the run.
    • There is actual concept art of Human!Rowan Freemaker. And R0-GR was made cannon of sorts (he is the narrator of a droid encyclopedia)
After Rebels concludes, characters from there will take up roles in The Freemaker Adventures like Hera and Chopper.
  • As Kanan and Ezra seem to be gone, they probably won't make appearances unless they're in a recording that gets seen like with Anakin's recording in the holocron.
  • A promoted Kallus (who by the time he appears will be a It Was His Sled/Late-Arrival Spoiler regarding his arc in Rebels) appears in a similar role to Hera, except everyone thinks he's a Grade A jerk, but he's actually a Jerk with a Heart of Gold.
  • A promoted Zeb and Sabine that act like cool big siblings to Rowan, possibly stirring up some jealousy from Kordi and Zander.
The Ghost will not appear ever.
We haven't seen the Ghost yet in the hanger bay of Home One, though maybe it's in another hanger bay in the ship. Otherwise, a Noodle Incident happened that got the Ghost lost after the events of Rogue One.
Wick Cooper will lose his fortune.
  • He really has it coming. When he learns about the death of the Emperor, he suffers a breakdown and his wealth disappears.
