It's possible that she could (almost) become one of Monster's victims, but Skid stopped Monster. Also, Skid would probably convince Lila to befriend Monster.

Partially confirmed. Lila does appear in the last chapter, but not in the way we expected.
The other Monster that was mentioned in chapter 1 was Bob.
Think about it. He's a monster, (we think) as seen in his final song, and he's a jerk to Boyfriend in Sunshine. Also, he does grab the text box, which WOULD imply that he kept doing it to Monster, so he wouldn't be able to talk back.
CONFIRMED FOR CHAPTER 12! Bob was hiding in his closet, and didn't pay his rent. Also, he is a jerk to Monster.
