Some of the other characters from the original are going to show up.
Possibilities include:Tatsumi (Was turned into a living Teigu after the end of the manga, but could still return, whether in human form or not)
Mine (Married to Tatsumi and had children with him before he transformed. If Tatsumi returns, it's logical that she would too)
Kurome (Akame's sister survived the manga. It's possible the sequel will explore her whereabouts)
Wave (As with Tatsumi and Mine, Wave and Kurome were established as a couple in the manga, so if one appears the other probably will as well; to top it off, he survived both in the manga and the anime)
Leone (Officially dead in the original, but it happened offscreen and they Never Found the Body, which theoretically makes a reappearance possible)
Yomihime is a living Teigu
We know she's much more powerful and agile than any human in the setting, and she herself doesn't seem to know whether she's human or not. The last character in the series who was like this was Susanoo, the humanoid Teigu who was a member of Night Raid. Yomihime could be a similar humanoid Teigu, but one who has achieved full autonomy and independence. Voice actors for the characters
