The series is Stabler's Dying Dream

Elliot Stabler is lying on a street somewhere, bleeding out, hallucinating himself as a flawed but invincible force for good who, deep down, wants to be a good father.

Unlike the season one finale (where he said the S word twice), Happy will not curse at all in the 2nd season.
This show is about Happy's slow descent into—and slower embrace of—all things depraved. Won't be long until he's swearing just as much as Nick. If not moreso.

Isabella is far more clever than she lets on from the very start.
Her reality TV shtick wasn't just a quirk that worked out for her in the end. She knew the only thing she could do to counter Blue's psychopath nature was to keep him in the limelight, even at the cost of her own privacy.

The Wishee suit creatures are Sonny Shine's imaginary friends.
They bleed a pinkish-purple blood similar to Raspberry after Happy stabs him. The only problem would be addressing how Merry can see them.
  • Jossed. They are alien-demon-things, minions or allies of Orcus. But Happy and possibly the other imaginary friends may have similar weird abilities as Orcus and the Wishees.

Imaginary friends are psychic entities
Not every kid with an imaginary friend has these kind of imaginary friends seen within the series, only children with telekinetic abilities. These children unwittingly use their abilities to create "imaginary friends" out of the energy of psychic wavelengths picked up by other telekinetics. This is why certain other children, and sometimes even certain adults, can see imaginary friends that are not their own.

The show takes place in the same reality as Crank
If not for the obvious fact the directors of the film worked on the show, the fact that Nick Sax seems like he could be on the same level of being both badass and unstoppable as Chev Chelios. Not to mention the underworld of New York and Los Angeles seem like they're both part of the same of some nation wide underworld. Also, Chev's iconic ring tone turns up in the first episode of the show.

Raspberry is a pretty young imaginary friend.
Blue, in the first episode, tells Gerry to keep his dog still and quiet, or else it would meet the same fate as Gerry's last three dogs, which Blue had killed earlier in the year. Raspberry is a three-headed dog, and might be an amalgam of Gerry's three dead dogs.

Imaginary Friends are Sentient Stands
Only a Stand User can see a Stand, Nick might have or had a Stand which is why he can see Happy. Nick might even not be aware he HAS a Stand, and likewise Stand Users' Kids have a tendency of being born with the Ability which is why Haylie has one, that being Happy. Likewise Happy is able to give information to Nick an Imaginary Friend would not be able to.
