Go To

When Cloud is revived, he would shout at everyone except Incineroar and Kazuya for trusting Sephiroth and ignoring his warnings.
  • Incineroar is safe because in "The Cat in the Can" he is implied to be aware of Sephiroth's Long Game while Kazuya is new and doesn’t know what’s going on yet.
    • He probably wouldn't be mad at Sora for being unfamiliar with the events.
      • Furthermore, Cloud and Sora are friends, and given how Sora is, Cloud wouldn't hold a grudge against him.
    • Related to the above, the other fighters will anticipate the inevitable chewing out from Cloud and so they'll revive him last so they won't have to deal with it for a while.
  • Cloud last one to be revived confirmed! And he does indeed chew everyone.
    • And in the panel where Cloud chews everyone out, Kazuya, Incineroar and Sora are noticeably absent.

How the other Smashers will get revived.
  • The Pokemon: Max Revives or Revives
    • Or just go to a Pokemon Center.
      • Jossed. The Pokemon Center can't revive dead Pokemon, let alone a dead Trainer.
    • Even better if Incineroar talks the human language but the cashier at the Pokemart gives him the revives anyways.
      • Jossed for Pikachu and Pichu, they get defibrillated by Electrivire.
      • Jossed for Jigglypuff, who got revived by Arceus instead.
      • Jossed for the rest, who get revived by Xerneas.
  • Pokemon Trainer (assuming both Red and Leaf succumbed):
    • Either:
    • Partially confirmed for the latter two, through it is Xerneas that revives her (Leaf was the one who died), instead of Arceus or Ho-Oh.
  • Steve: Check the room where he is staying. Chances are that he respawned in his bed.
    • Partially confirmed. He does spawn near a bed, though it's Bayonetta’s.
  • Miis: Created from scratch.
    • Alternatively, using Life Sprinkles
    • Or have their respective idols revive them.
      • For Brawler, Shantae would use her magic to heal them.
      • For Swordfighter, Dante would drag their soul back to them.
      • For Gunner, Cuphead parry-slaps their ghost.
    • Creation method partially confirmed: The Wii Remote cursor just gives them new eyes to replace the crossed-out ones. There is also a nod to the idol method through Papyrus, although he does not revive the Gunner.
  • Joker: Finding him in another crossover and having to drag him back.
    • Either that, or he's in the Velvet Room.
    • Or maybe a Revival Bead, since they can work in Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth and Persona 5 Strikers.
    • He'll probably be revived by other Persona characters' healing spells, and there will be a joke about Mitsuru opting to use Marin Karin instead.
      • It could be that Morgana does it, since he always shows up in Joker's taunts, and has been there all along.
      • Assuming Sophia is in his phone, maybe she could take care of it.
    • Or perhaps taken to Dr. Takemi.
    • Morgana method semi-confirmed. Thanks to Byleth's quick thinking and Pichu's Focus Band, Joker was never actually killed, only knocked unconscious, allowing Morgana to easily use Zorro's healing on him.
  • Ness and Lucas:
    • Either:
      • A trip to the hospital.
      • Any of their allies using a PSI Healing spell.
      • A hot spring for Lucas.
    • Hospital method confirmed!
  • Zelda Characters: Fairies.
    • Confirmed as of Results May Fairy for Young Link and Zelda. Also confirmed for Sheik.
    • Jossed for Regular Link (put in a shrine for 100 years, then retrieved using Dialga and Palkia), Toon Link (fed his Grandma's soup), and Ganondorf (the Yiga Clan revive him).
  • Cloud: Get a White Mage to cast Arise or Life on him
    • That or use a Revive Materia.
    • Or like Joker, find him in another crossover and drag him back too.
    • Or use a Phoenix Down.
      • Phoenix Down confirmed, although since the standard size only revives unconscious party members, a bigger feather was required. Namely, one of Kazooie's.
  • Sonic: Throw him at an Extra Life box.
    • Or 100 rings or using the Chaos Emeralds (hopefully without a kiss).
    • The comic depicting his revival will coincide with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022).
    • Alternatively, as a Take That! towards those who blow the Sonic series' lore out of proportion, the Smashers will attempt an overly complicated method of reviving Sonic (possibly even more than once), only for him to come back in the most straightforward way imaginable and promptly lampshade that it took them this long. Bonus points if it's something like Princess Peach attempting to plant a healing kiss on Sonic, only for the hedgehog himself to immediately jolt back to life purely out of sheer disgust at the prospect.
      • 100 rings method confirmed, but with a twist. Dedede has the 100 rings made while in the Elden Ring world because no one wants to run around in Green Hill Zone to collect them. There are also nods to the Extra Life box and a princess's kiss, but neither of those options are used (the first method looked a little too violent, and Peach was not enthusiastic about kissing a rotting corpse). Also confirmed for occurring after the US release of second Sonic movie.
  • Banjo and Kazooie: Get an extra life statue of Banjo.
    • Jossed. Master Chief uses Gruntilda's B.O.B. from Banjo-Tooie.
  • Ridley: Brought back via cloning. He’ll also go through his transformation phases like in Other M.
    • Jossed, he’s revived Pikmin 1 Bad Ending style, resulting in him being a Pikmin-space pirate hybrid for the rest of the series.
  • Mr. Game & Watch: Charging the Game & Watch console.
    • Jossed, Sora makes a home made 1 up for him.
  • Dedede and Meta Knight: Literal 1-Ups.
    • Either that, or traveling back in time to the events of Milky Way Wishes and wishing on NOVA for them to be brought back to life.
    • It'll be timed to coincide with the release of Kirby and the Forgotten Land or at least refer to it, similar to how Samus's return has nods to Metroid Dread, and Sinnoh being picked for the Pokemon characters is a nod to the release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
      • NOVA method confirmed for King Dedede! Though the one who revived Dedede (Bandana Waddle Dee) didn't use time travel. As a plus, it’s timed during the week of Forgotten Land’s release.
      • As for Meta Knight, jossed, as they go to the world of Elden Ring instead to take advantage of the world's respawn system. However, there are still Forgotten Land nods with Kirby using Mouthful Mode on a plane, and Sephiroth escaping to the game's setting following Meta Knight's revival.
  • The Star Fox fighters: Use three Gold Rings.
  • Hero: Get a Yggdrasil Leaf, or have Serena cast Kazing.
    • Or tithe at a church.
      • Jossed, the smashers simply camp at night, much to their dismay.
  • Fire Emblem cast:
    • Use the revival staves like Aum and Valkyrie.
    • For Byleth specifically, have Sothis use the Divine Pulse.
      • In addition, given some reveals in Three Hopes, Sothis will control Byleth's body before Byleth gets revived proper.
    • Or use Breidablik to summon new ones, though this will probably require a lot of orbs and will summon a whole bunch of other heroes.
    • Given the pattern, their revival will be timed to the release of the new Fire Emblem Warriors game.
      • Revival staves method confirmed for Marth, Corrin and Chrom, with the Aum Staff for Marth, and Bifrost Staff for Corrin and Chrom.
      • Divine Pulse method confirmed for Byleth, with the reveal that Sothis used it way back during the original poisoning, but the Divine Pulse was used so Byleth could fake her death and go on a journey to thwart Sephiroth's plans her own way.
      • Jossed for Robin. Chrom invokes the ending of Awakening where Robin sacrifices himself to slay Grima, but somehow returns via the Power of Friendship.
      • All Jossed for the remaining three (Roy, Lucina, and Ike). They are resurrected using the Revival Springs present in Shadows of Valentia.
  • Mega Man: Throw him an Extra Life head.
    • Or have Dr. Light reboot him.
      • Dr. Light method confirmed here! He also indeed uses an Extra Life head.
  • Inkling: Either chuck them in a starting point so they can respawn, or bring in new Inklings altogether.
    • First one confirmed, the others make a homemade respawn point to revive them, but they use too much power and the Inklings end up with really handsome faces. They are fixed thanks to Bandana Waddle Dee later on though.
  • ROB: Find or build a new one, maybe transferring the old one's memories to it.
    • Or, in relation to the Mega Man option, they’ll have Dr. Light fix him as well.
      • Sort of confirmed on the last one, although Shulk is the one who fixes him up.
  • Dark Samus: Have the phazons infect Samus's suit again (to her reluctance).
    • Jossed in Metroid Med. She is powered up by a Chozo Recovery Station.
  • Xenoblade cast:
    • Shulk: Meyneth revives him, just like in his own game.
    • Pyra/Mythra: They revive on their own (or alternatively, they aren't actually dead, but blackout drunk like in this comic) since Blades live as long as their Drivers. Rex is unaccounted for, and the only way a Blade can die permanently is if their Core Crystal is damaged, and the Aegis is much more difficult to destroy than a normal Blade (and in the case of their bond with Rex, they share a life force). Plus, the Aegis was only poisoned and unlike most Blades upon death, they left a body behind (Blades usually revert to their Core Crystals upon death, whether because the Driver died or a permanent death because of crystal damage, and the only Blades that leave bodies behind are those that went through Blade Eater surgery like Haze). Or they get the Architect to make another Pneuma.
      • Alternately: Because of the shared life force, Rex died as a result of Sephiroth's poisoning too. Much like the Shulk example (and this one has canonical basis), they have Nia revive him like she revived Emperor Niall and then have him re-resonate with the Aegis.
    • Alternately for both: They use the series' Party Gauge mechanics to revive them. Or they use Ether to revive them both.
    • For Pyra/Mythra, their revival will be timed just in time for the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
      • Party Gauge method confirmed the girls! And just in time for Xenoblade 3. Also confirmed that Pyra/Mythra were not actually dead because blades can't die from poison, but merely fainted and were unnable to revive due to technically being stuck in battle mode, and Rex was affected indirectly by the poison, being near-death himself. The healing was actually used on Rex in order bring back the Aegis.
  • Captain Falcon: Either win enough races to get 10,000 points or enter a race and focus on knocking out five fighters.
    • 10,000 point method confirmed!
  • The Kid Icarus crew: A Hot Spring or the Rewind Spring.
    • Alternatively for Dark Pit, they break the Mirror of Truth again.
    • Jossed for Pit. They just feed him some floor ice cream (it gives you health).
    • Jossed again for Dark Pit. In the "For Pit's Sake" strip, Meta Knight embarks on a quest to retrieve the Drink of the Gods in order to bring Pit back. Though he's frustrated after finding out they just gave Pit floor ice cream, Fox decides to give the drink to Dark Pit. Though it takes two servings: one to revive him, and the second one is tainted black with Brewster's coffee to stop him from playing dead because he didn't want a pink drink.
    • Rewind Spring method confirmed for Palutena.
  • Solid Snake: Make another Big Boss clone.
    • Jossed. He's revived in the rewind spring from Kid Icarus.
  • Villager: Some Medicine
    • Jossed. See Bayonetta below.
  • Bayonetta: Send someone to Inferno to get her soul like Bayonetta did with Jeanne.
    • Partially confirmed, as Doom Slayer brings her from Hell with the Animal Crossing characters.
  • Little Mac, Ryu, Ken, and Terry: They put quarters in arcade machines.
    • Jossed for the latter 3. Bayonetta revives them by announcing Round 2. Because they're already "KO'd", the round instantly ends and After-Combat Recovery kicks in.
    • Alternatively for Little Mac, use a KO Recovery.
    • Jossed for Little Mac as well. They attempt to use Kid Icarus's Rewind Spring, but they put him in there too long and he ends up becoming a baby. He later returns back to normal thanks to Dialga.
  • Pac-Man: Pick up enough pellets and bonus items.
    • Alternatively, find a Special Pac.
    • Or, in relation to the Little Mac, Ryu, Ken, and Terry option, they put quarters in an arcade machine.
    • Item method partially confirmed. They try to enter Pac-Man and collect 10,000 points, but they get kicked out, so instead, they get Mega Man to repeatedly shoot Pac-Man (because his Mega Buster shots resemble pellets).
  • Min Min: Douse her in HP Juice.
    • Jossed. They use the Cup of Lifenoodles from Earthbound.
  • Wii Fit Trainer: Changing the Balance Board's batteries.
    • Either that, or expose them to sunlight, because their neutral special, Sun Salutation, heals them when fully charged.
    • Sunlight method confirmed!

Sephiroth's true intentions.
  • Going back to the Fridge Logic, if Sephiroth's true plan was to kill all the fighters and instill despair in Cloud before death, wouldn't he be aware that Kazuya (and Sora) hadn't arrived, and wouldn't he have taken care of Incineroar while he was in a vulnerable position to ensure no witnesses or that no one brings them back? This Spanner in the Works seems oddly timed that he wouldn't wait until Kazuya made himself at home, Sora was revealed as the final fighter, and when Incineroar is allowed to fight again.
    • Maybe he knew of this already? Maybe he grabbed an opening as to when he can showcase his evil side and got the opportunity, regardless of Incineroar's imprisonment, Kazuya's late arrival, and Sora's absence.

'Mr. Sakurai's Office' in Maize Climbers
  • Seeing Sakurai's office with a 'WORKING! DON'T DISTURB' is a funny nod to the fact that the real Sakurai works hard on his games, but this little small gag might allude to two instances of Fridge Horror.
    • Did Sakurai allow Sephiroth to go through with his poisoning scheme, or is he solely focused on working that he's oblivious to it?
    • Is Sephiroth the one behind the door? His whereabouts are unknown after all, and maybe he could be right where everyone is, seeing the aftermath of his 'greatest work yet'.
      • Jossed for Sephiroth being the one behind the door.

The other Smashers will think that Samus does not want to bring back her arch-enemies (Ridley and Dark Samus ), but she surprises them by accepting it
  • Considering that all of the villains except Sephiroth are given the Mean Character, Nice Actor treatment, it would not be too surprising for Samus to be more tolerant of her villains.
    • Confirmed for Dark Samus in Metroid Med. Her willingness to revive her via a Chozo Recovery Station confirms this.
    • As for Ridley, Samus is a bit more reluctant on reviving him but does goes through with it since he would just come back from the dead anyways.

Sephiroth's fate once all the Smashers are revived

In the end, even the replaced fighters (sans Piranha Plant and Yoshi) are revived
  • Following the original Isabelle's revival, the idea of replacing dead fighters had already been abandoned (aside from the already-replaced Yoshi and Piranha Plant).
    • Confirmed. Only Yoshi and Piranha Plant were replaced, with the rest of the crew being brought back to life.

When everyone comes back to life, Sephiroth will get his well deserved Laser-Guided Karma
He will return only to come face to face with all the fighters plus the assist trophies, everyone who helped them (such as Master Chief and Doom Guy), the Legendary Pokemon (if they are saved from the Distortion World) they befriended, and the other characters he trolled when he first appeared giving him a MASSIVE Death Glare. Sephiroth will try to run only to face Sakurai and the Hands right behind him, furious at him for killing all the fighters.

Shulk's role when he's revived.
  • Shulk has the ability to see into the future with the Monado at hand. Maybe at one point in the future, he'll see when Sephiroth returns, and keep the gang safe that way.
    • Partially confirmed. In "Tactical Espionage Action", Sephiroth has Hades guard the rewind spring to prevent the fighters from all being revived with it. But Shulk has a vision of this, and is thus able to sneak Snake past him to be revived.

What will happen in the 2022-03-09 comic.
  • Studying this preview image released by the team, Pikachu, Pichu and Electivire are zapping, something. Wario is yelling at, something, while Shulk is reading something from a paper. Considering that Electivire returns and the sky's color is that of a dark magenta, could the comic feature them saving Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, and Xerneas in the Distortion World?
    • Considering what happens in "Hellraisers", are they attacking Sephiroth?
    • Jossed. They’re reviving the Inklings.

Future story arc
  • After the fighters are done reviving everyone and have defeated Sephiroth, they will now have to live with the cast of MultiVersus and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, who will move into their own houses in the same neighborhood.

Cloud will be the final character to be revived.

Sephiroth will get involved with Fecto Forgo.
  • Considering that after being discovered in the world of Elden Ring, Sephiroth goes to Forgotten Land (confirmed by the lush covered buildings and the Awoofy he talks to). But considering Fecto Forgo's status as the Viler New Villain in the game, it would make sense that Sephiroth might try to harness or associate with Fecto to finish what he started. But it also depends if Fecto is alive or not in this particular universe.
    • Not sure if this confirms or josses anything, but in "Miis Applentii", Sephiroth seems to have made the Awoofy he was talking to when he arrived in the Forgotten Land into his pet.
      • You're right. Sephiroth does have that Awoofy by his side, but you never know.
    • Jossed. Sephiroth made a Legion of Doom to kill the Smashers once and for all. Among the villains, Fecto is absent.

The Isabelles will end up switching places after everyone is revived.
  • Isabelle 1 will be feeling nostalgic for her usual role as a mayor's assistant, while Isabelle 2 won't want to go back to her previous life after having had to live in an abandoned island for eight months, waiting for the Island Representative to show up.
    • Jossed. Isabelle 2 returns to her island. However, she promises to go back and visit the Smash Mansion as often as she can.

Sephiroth will at some point meet Master Chief.

There will be a Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes arc to revive the Fire Emblem cast
  • Jossed, as the crew went to the respective realms in Fire Emblem to revive the cast rather than Fodlan.

Pyra and Mythra's revival will reference or actively involve the state of affairs in the Xenoblade universe in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
  • It could simply be a reference, like having Nia and Melia meet and have an argument (likely over something petty), or something the roster has to work around, like making their way to the queen of Agnus and getting their help to revive Pyra.
    • Jossed. No reference is made, and the Xenoblade 2 cast is still as they were in Xenoblade 2.
      • They do make a reference later by having Shulk have a vision of Rex in his Future Redeemed incarnation, but by then the Revival arc was already over.

Byleth told ASS and Doomguy about Sephiroth, and she knows why Isabelle was in Hell.
The fact Doomguy seemed to know that Isabelle (Along with Bayonetta and Villager) was in Hell and that ASS knew Wii Fit Trainer was dead seems far too convenient. But The Reveal that Byleth was revived right away via Divine Pulse and that she's the biggest Spanner in the Works against Sephiroth's plan, as well as the fact she informed the Phantom Thieves about Joker being unconscious with only 1 HP left, might bring an explanation to how Doomguy and ASS knew: they received a letter from Byleth similar to the one the Phantom Thieves got.
  • And Doomguy's letter also instructed him not to attack Sephiroth before everyone is revived, since Byleth knows that Doomguy is a Trauma Button for Sephiroth and that, as a consequence, Sephiroth took anti-Doomguy measures.
  • Possibly jossed for ASS. One of them (Isaac) is an Assist Trophy, so it's possible Waluigi told ASS that Wii Fit Trainer was dead. Remember, ever since he got a pep talk from Ridley, Waluigi Took a Level in Kindness.

We're nearing the homestretch. Any possible outcomes on the final encounter with Sephiroth?
  • There will be a climatic Final Battle with Sephiroth becoming Safer Sephiroth at one point.
  • There will be an Anti-Climax fight that will be Played for Laughs.
    • Although, a recent Twitter post from the team might joss this theory. But we'll have to wait until the 7th of September.
  • Sephiroth might have a Villain Team-Up to ensure that his magnum opus remains that way. Possible candidates for one are Cyrus and, as stated above, Fecto Forgo. Hades may also be involved since the two already did a Villain Team-Up to stop the Smashers from using the Rewind Spring more than once.
    • Perhaps he'll temporarily turn some of the smash house evil, probably the other villains. The rest of the roster will have to beat them back to their senses before taking on Sephiroth himself.
    • Endgame Enemies confirm the Villain Team-Up! Though Cyrus and Forgo are absent, and Hades, while he wanted to help his fellow villains, couldn't come. Though Hades did provide his fellow villains a good load of his weapons.
      • Also confirmed that Sephiroth will try to invoke a Face–Heel Turn on the villains, though it's more of a We Can Rule Together than anything. So far, though, he failed to turn any villain. Instead, he turned Meta Knight.
      • Even that was subverted, as “Meta Knight” turned out to be Kirby in disguise.
  • The Legendary Pokemon that tagged along during the journey (sans Giratina) might want to stay with the fighters if they're free from Sephiroth.
    • Confirmed for Arceus, Dialga and Palkia, at least. We don't know what happened to Xerneas, though, since he doesn't appear with the other three.
    • Scratch "sans Giratina". Sephiroth still owns Giratina, as seen when he sics it to fight Sora in a Pokemon Championship battle in the next arc.
  • Whatever will happen, one thing is certain: Joker will play a massive role.
    • In that case, the big finale could be about the Smashers and Phantom Thieves entering the Metaverse and launching an assault on Sephiroth's Palace, before stealing his heart in the process to hopefully inflict some Heel–Face Brainwashing.
  • Since it's been confirmed that Joker will be leading the Phantom Thieves to give Sephiroth a change of heart, my personal theory is that it will end with Cloud freshly revived saying "I told you so!" and preparing to fight Sephiroth again... only for a heart changed Sephiroth to appear and start crying at Cloud's knees to his utter confusion.
    • Alternatively, Sephiroth will be the one to revive Cloud (using Materia)
    • Both Jossed. Sephiroth is nowhere around when Cloud is revived.
  • I still think a heart-changed Sephiroth will appear and start crying to Cloud’s utter confusion.
    • Based on the following comics, it seems that he’s part of the group that will change his heart, so he should be expecting it.
    • Scratch that thought. Once Sephiroth has his heart changed, he'll start crying at Cloud's feet to his discomfort.
      • Jossed. Sephiroth's reaction to getting his heart changed is frustration that he can't do evil.

The final fight will be a homage to Avengers: Endgame.

Meta Knight is a Fake Defector.
  • He most likely joined to gain intel on the army, and will secretly give advice to the fighters.
    • This is Meta Knight, after all. He's not an out-and-out good guy, but even if his personal standards didn't stop him from joining Sephiroth, his personal pride definitely would— despite any grudge he might have with Kirby, the pink puffball has at least never been stupid enough to premeditatedly murder him like Sephiroth did.
  • Or maybe "Meta Knight" is actually Dark Meta Knight.
  • Confirmed. It was actually Kirby in disguise.

The fact that the Smash villians (sides Sephiroth) are playing Mean Character, Nice Actor mostly straight will come into play on whether or not they will join Sephiroth's army.
  • Mario might mention how he regularly races with Bowser and will mention that Ganondorf did save him, DK, Sheik, and the Ice Climbers when he was revived.
    • Considering that the 2022-10-5 comic is when the fighting begins, it might be safe to say that Meta Knight is the only one to defect. But you never know.
    • Jossed. Meta Knight is really the only one to defect.
      • Even that was subverted, it was Kirby in disguise to trick Sephiroth.

What Sephiroth's Treasure Will Look Like
  • A statue of Cloud.
    • Actually, I think it might be the painting of his soon to be magnum opus, think about it: Why else would he be standing there other than to keep it safe from intruders?
      • Painting being the treasure confirmed! Additionally, it manifests as a bottle of shampoo in the real world.

Sephiroth's Colony Drop will be stopped by:
  • The Four Giants from Majora's Mask.
    • Colony Drop jossed, Sephiroth had his heart changed before he could even do it.

Kirby will help the Phantom Thieves beat Shadow Sephiroth

Sakurai will appear in the epilogue, asking if anything happened while he was gone
  • He also notices that Little Mac is still a baby.
    • Jossed. Sakurai does not appear at all in the epilogue and Little Mac is returned back to being an adult.

Possible ways that upcoming games will be spoofed
  • Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe: Several of the Smashers take a trip to the new Merry Magoland thanks to Magolor con-manning them into it.
  • Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon: Rosalina asks Bayonetta to tell a bedtime story to the Lumas. She tells the game's story with a few creative liberties here and there.
  • The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: The Yiga Clan is still sore about Ganondorf's treatment of them from the "Revival" arc, and try to get through to him again like desperate lovers. After another rejection, they create the "Rehydrated Ganondorf" fans have joked about.
    • A fakeout where Link's hand looks like it's been replaced with a robot one, only for it to reveal that it was a special glove the whole time.
      • Comfirmed about the Tears of the Kingdom arc, albeit the cause of Link's arm being ripped off was completely different, since the Mauses stole it after they were defeated.
  • Street Fighter 6: Ryu and Ken use special time machines created by Professor E. Gadd to turn into their new looks and leave for a so-called “tournament number 6” in Metro City. Luke picks them up, with Terry and Kazuya also joining them. The latter two end up fighting against an avatar who has learned every special move from all 18 fighters he met on his journey around the world.
    • Something similar can also be done with Tekken 8, where Kazuya uses the time machine to change into his new look.
    • Alternatively, for Mortal Kombat 1, Ryu, Ken, Terry, and Kazuya end up in the game's rebooted universe thanks to a mishap with the time machines, alongside the classic universe versions of Scorpion and Sub-Zero.
  • Pikmin 4: Olimar leaves with some of the Smashers on a journey to PNF-404 once again, meeting the crew members from that game.
    • Alternatively, Olimar leaves for the planet, but sends a distress call and Samus along with a few other fighters go to rescue him. To their confusion, Ridley comes with them due to his half-Pikmin nature.
    • A recurring gag could include the Duck Hunt Dog playing with Oatchi.
  • Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, and Daisy go to the world of the game. Meanwhile, one of the Smashers in the Smash House eats an elephant fruit and becomes an elephant, with the other Smashers trying different ways to turn them back to normal.
    • There can also be a reference to Sonic Superstars where Fang and Trip kidnap the transformed Smasher, only for Sonic and his friends to deal with them.
      • Sort of confirmed. Mario, Luigi, and Peach do in fact go to the Flower Kingdom, but only to bring some Talking Flowers to the Smash House (much to the dismay of the other Smashers). In addition, Wario and Waluigi do sell Elephant Fruits to other citizens to turn them into elephants, but a mishap with Dizzy (who is already an elephant) results in them landing in jail.
How The Maushold Problem Will Be Dealt With
  • Incineroar and Meowscarada will quickly make a meal of them. The description for "Maus Haus" does say "When the cat's away, the mice will play." The trick is telling Incineroar and the rest of the Smash characters in Paldea (Kazuya, Sephiroth, Sonic, Luigi, Daisy, Sora, Kirby and the Duck Hunt Duo) that the House has been taken over by the Mauses.
    • Confirmed! The note the Smashers that are being held hostage manage to sneak out of the House alongside Piranha Plant specifically request for the Paldea crew to bring a lot of cats with them. The Paldea crew however decides that Incineroar and Meowscarada alone won't do, and decide to recruit more cats.
      • Also, any surviving Mauses will face the wrath of Mickey and Disney's lawyers for stealing his credit card info.
  • Given Shulk's vision (of his and Rex's Future Redeemed incarnations), there's gonna be time travel involved.
The trainers that the trio extorted from in Crazy Rich Felines will come back to bite them (figuratively) when they do Starfall Street
After the Maushold problem is taken care of, Villager will be kept under strict surveillance
  • Villager seemingly betrayed the fighters and joined the Mauses on his own free will, so it's likely that once the Mauses have been eliminated, the other fighters will make sure Villager won't betray them ever again.
    • Jossed. The Smashers decide to kick Villager out of the House and send him to live with monsters so he can think about what he's done, claiming he will only be let back in when he learns how to behave. Samus does consider locking him up as comeuppance, but Mario suggests exiling him instead.
When the vacation trio eventually meets up with the jailbreakers, they’ll do a Spider-Man pointing meme.
  • Jossed.
The vacation squad will have to divide and conquer if Long Way Home gets down, since there is still a Maus problem to handle.
Cats (and other felines) Sonic manages to recruit for their goal in taking down the Mauses might include the following:

Villager will become a victim to Hijacked by Ganon.
As revealed in a Bonus Panel, Villager became a tyranical overlord in Hyrule. So naturally, the Zelda cast inhabiting the Smash House (and Pikachu, who is also with them) would have to overthrow him. However, any Zelda fan should figure out that the Final Boss of the Tears arc will be Tears!Ganon, since Ganon is always the final boss of a Zelda game.
  • Alternatively, Villager and Tears!Ganondorf will team up to fight agaisnt the smashers. (or he could even ended up becoming more powerful than Tears!Ganondorf alone, being the one who ends up hijacked instead.)
  • Jossed. The Zelda cast never fights Villager, as they cut straight to fighting Tears!Ganondorf, and Tears!Ganondorf's defeat kills Villager's army.

Tears!Ganon is a Mirror Boss.
Well, we have a good Ganon (of the Mean Character, Nice Actor nature) in the Smash House, so...
  • Confirmed in a sense. In "Gloom Link", Smash Ganondorf saves Toon Link from Tears Ganon.
  • Fully confirmed... sort of. All Zelda Smashers fight Tears!Ganondorf, including Smash!Ganondorf.

Everyone will find out who released Tabuu in the first place
It will not be pretty.

Who's gonna win/be the last one standing at the Ultimate Battle Royale?
  • Kirby. He beats up eldritch horrors every other day. This is nothing for him.

Alternative Title(s): Wooden Plank Studios
