Jon Snow and Sonagon will battle against Euron Greyjoy and the kraken
An adult dragon is the only foreseeable thing that could possibly threaten the kraken summoned in chapter 31 which destroyed Oldtown, broke the Hightower, killed tens of thousands of people, and is now bound to Euron's will and Euron wants to conquer Westeros. So far Daenerys and her three young dragons haven't budged from Meereen, halfway across the world. Most people outside the north see Jon Snow as a barbarian invader, but when Euron starts attacking more port cities and destroys the entire realm's economy on the onset of winter several houses and even some cities in Essos could naturally think 'enemy of my enemy' and make deals for Jon Snow's help. (Although right after The Battle of the Snows both Jon and Sonagon are not much in the mood and condition to help former enemies).- Confirmed. In the story outline the author states that Braavos would have reached out to Jon for help against Euron and he lost. Later he and Daenerys defeat him together.
When Daenerys finally reaches Westeros her greatest conflict will be choosing between Jon or Aegon, choosing to aid one and simultaneously coming in conflict with the other.
